I have had one of these onboard my sailing vessel for years, and now use it at home. It’s a well made chess board and pieces and is performing well. This is a good purchase.

Highly recommend. Well made and sturdy. Magnetic board in pieces are perfect for young kids. Size is perfect for traveling. Storage case is awesome. I actually purchased the second one for my grandson. Great value for the money.

My son recently began playing chess and was interested in a set. This one was perfect, as it folded up and could be easily stored, while not breaking the bank. We don’t have the living room space to keep it out all of the time, so investing in a large or expensive set was not an option. It is made of a nice material - board and pieces are wood with felt feet. The colors are bright and as pictured. I was surprised how strong the magnets were - they keep the pieces in place well, which helps when transferring a “game in progress” from room-to-room. When not in use, the pieces fit nicely in individual foam inserts and the board closes in half. Highly recommend.

My grandson was so excited to get this chess set. Not only does it look beautiful. It’s magnetic so the pieces stay on the board for a 10-year-old and four-year-old to play together with. That way the pieces don’t get knocked off and the thing my grandson loves most is that he can store them inside the box in their own unique locations. The board then folds down into a smaller box for storage

A very nice set - please with the quality for the cost. Everything stores in the board which becomes the case. Nice size.
