Original Franmara Boomerang Classic Waiter Style Corkcrew with Foil Cutter - Burgundy

It’s is sturdy and efficient. My favorite part is the foil cutter. It is the best one I have used. More effective than those little knives you get most of the time. As it is built into the Unit, you need less tools to open your wine.

I live in wine country on the Central California Coast. I first discovered the Boomerang while doing local wine tasting. It was being sold at a local wine tasting room with the vintners logo on it. It has a very exquisite foil cutter and it un-corks the bottle with very little effort. I bought a couple of them and promptly gave one away to a relative that admired it. We entertain a lot and I just keep giving these away to good friends that use it and love it. I always have a couple in the house and one in the Eurovan for camping excursions. If you love wine you will love the Boomerang. If you serve wine in a restaurant you will love it even more. If you have a wine tasting room you should be selling these things.

My husband uses this & loves it. Very handy & just the right tool for the job. It really is the tool used by real wine sommeliers & waiters. Not fancy but GREAT.

This is one of the best corkscrew designs that absolutely works every time. The heavy weight plastic does not detract from its efficiency or style. To be fair, the company makes another version that is more lightweight, costs quite a bit less, and doesn't work as well as this one. This one is definitely worth the extra cost.

I use this corkscrew in my travels. My other Waiter's corkscrews have a little knife attached for opening the foil on bottle caps, so they are not allowed through airport security. This model has a small cutter incorporated into the handle that cannot be construed by security to be a knife so they are happy with it and I always have a great corkscrew/bottle opener with me when I need it. Not sure if you have noticed, but very few hotel rooms have bottle openers installed like they use to, so the combo screw and opener is very handy. Perfect choice for me, and it would be as good at home as on a trip.

I love this wine key. It is the perfect servers corkscrew. Instead of a blade or saw, it has an adjustable cutter to fit any type of bottle. This worked perfectly for me at the work and you never have to worry about slipping or cutting yourself in the process.

This is my second order for the Boomerang Corkscrew. Not because mine broke but as gifts for my wine drinking friends. I cringe when at someone else’s home and I open a bottle of wine I have to fight with other styles.The sturdiness, balance and leverage when pulling the cork is total harmony! On many occasions I have had people comment “ Wow you are really good at opening Wine” Yes I have opened many bottles of wine in my life but this is by far the best corkscrew I have used.I have had my original Boomerang for a good 5 years and to this date it has not shown one iota if wear and tear. The foil cutter is also working as well as the first day I used it. If I could I would give it 10 stars.
