Replaced another fuel pump with this one and it seems to work just fine. Pumps about 8 feet with a rise of about 3 feet. It will be interesting to see how long it will work. It’s mounted on a historic vehicle so it doesn’t run very often.

Works great. Easy install. You may need additional fuel line to replace original metal fuel Line so you can place the new pump in a convenient and safe location. Can’t be more than 12 inches higher than the fuel tank. A little noisy but unnoticeable once the engine is running. I found the best way to connect electrical leads was directly to the ignition switch where the only time the pump runs is when the switch is on. Keeping in mind if the engines dies (say in an accident) the pump will continue to run as long as it is powered. My install was on a 1973 Jeep CJ5 304 V8.

Instalé esta bomba en mi Renault 18 GTX del '85 para sustituir a la bomba mecánica original, ya que esa bomba había sido reemplazada unos 18 meses atrás y ya comenzaba a fugar gasolina hacia el cárter. Sumamente fácil de instalar, siendo un dispositivo de bajo consumo eléctrico y contando con relé de accesorios fué prácticamente plug and play. El montaje lo hice donde solía estar el filtro de combustible.
