Creamy cat food
Very healthy creamy cat food. My FIV cat has bad teeth. He loves this high quality cat food. It is easy for him to eat.

My cat has finally stopped throwing up!
I wish I found this cat food years ago. My poor cat has been throwing up several times a week for years. I took her to the vet and they ran all kinds of test, but everything was normal. She’s so fussy she would literally only eat one flavor of Fancy Feast even though I’ve tried hundreds of other brands/flavors. I thought I would try this new kind I saw at the market because it seemed to have a lot healthier ingredients. I am shocked, yet thrilled, that she loves it and has virtually stopped vomiting almost completely. She’s only vomited once or twice in the past few months since switching to Dave’s tuna In gravy. Thank you for making such an amazing cat food that I’m happy to give her!

I Wish it Had Byproducts
That's right, I wish this had byproducts; the very thing so many people praise this food for leaving out is actually what this cat food needs. Let me explain. I'm a firm believer in feeding cats a species appropriate diet that mimics what they'd eat in the wild. What do feral cats eat? Birds, rodents, etc. When a cat catches its prey and eats it, you don't see it nibbling around all the byproducts such as bones and organs. No. The cat eats the entire animal, often leaving behind just the head. Believe it or not, those bones and organs are the most nutrient dense part of the animal for a cat. That's where all the naturally occurring taurine is, a mineral essential to any cat's diet. Now, most cat food companies (including Dave's) will add a taurine supplement to the food to ensure cats get this vital mineral. Cats need it to survive. But this would be like humans relying on protein powder for protein instead of getting it from a whole food like meat. Sure, you can do it, but vitamins and minerals are more efficient when they occur naturally in foods rather than supplements.Having said all this, Dave's is not a bad cat food. There are a few things they get right which I appreciate. For example, the flavors I purchased don't contain vegetables. That's surprisingly rare to find. Cats don't need them. They're obligate carnivores and can't digest carbohydrates. Grain free is good, but ideally carb free is better. Filler free is best. Remember, cats are not humans; they have unique dietary needs.Overall I'd say Dave's is a decent cat food at the mid price range. Better than grocery store brands, but not as good as some other premium brands. So far the best premium canned food I've ever found is Ziwipeak, but it's also very expensive. But, my cats do like this food and I continue to feed it to them in their rotation.

Dave's always the best
I only dislike the price:) However I'm willing to pay for the best! My cats love that all gravy cans have REALLY some gravy inside. Right? Some different brands have gravy written on can but you can barely find it inside. So, yes, finicky cat approved.

Only two of my five cats liked it.
Price was good but probably won’t buy often since most of my cats didn’t eat it.

good food for my finiky cat
I have a cat that does not like most cat food. On top of that, we discovered that he is sensitive to any cat food that uses fish oil in their formula. The brand of canned cat food I had been using changed their formula to include salmon oil. My cat had to go on medication until we discovered the issue. I recently ran through about a dozen different brands of canned cat foods attempting to find something that did not have fish or fish oil in it and that my can would actually want to eat. Dave's Minced Chicken Dinner in Gravy turned out to be the one. My cat and I are both glad I found it.

My opinion
Your product looked and smelled like I had spent an hour in the kitchen making it, but not all my cats ate it.
