Blue Sea Systems LED Indicator Lights

Bought 2 for 120VAC and 1 for 24VAC. Works perfectly. It was easy to fit them snugly in the thin metal cover plate, just had to find a proper drill bit. Plus, they were the smallest LED lights I could find. Hope they will work for a long time. I don’t understand how come some people complain about brightness. They are not for illumination, they are indicator lights, and fulfill that purpose perfectly. All three give about equally bright light, can’t miss it in a brightly lit room, see the photo.

Well put together, not too bright but just bright enough, includes in-line resistor, accurate mounting diameter printed right on the product packaging along with wire gauge, voltage and current specs.I used it on an amplifier to indicate when the fuse has blown and needs replacing. Flawless install thanks to clear info on packaging.The only critique I can think of, and it's mostly superficial, would be to use silicone-jacketed wires with 600V insulation rating for that extra protection and ease of install. But really that's not a deterrent for me, just a suggestion. Also doesn't indicate country of manufacture, but the company itself seems to be an American company in Washington state. Bonus points if they also manufacture in the US.If you need a 120V AC indicator lamp, this is a great choice.

Used for a power on indicator for a pump outlet Easy to wire up with spade terminals on the receptacle, worked great. Not overly bright, but easily visible in normal room lighting. VERY small diameter...smaller than I anticipated.

These perfectly fit the Blue Sea Systems electrical control panel in our camping trailer. They were easy to install to replace three of the original indicator lamps that were burned out. The price was very fair for these hard-to-find lamps, with fast Prime shipping. I'm very happy with the purchase.Those reviewers who complain that this LED is not bright enough should perhaps realize that this indicator is intended for a specific application to fit Blue Sea System circuit breaker panels. In this application you are standing very close to the panel when you turn a breaker on or off. The lamp only serves to indicate that voltage is passing through the breaker. This is not something a person normally looks at very often. This LED is an appropriate size and brightness for this kind of application. It is not easy to find small self-contained LED indicator lamps that connect directly across a 120 volt AC line the way this one does. All LED bulbs operate on low DC voltage, and 120 VAC must be rectified and down converted. This makes this a rather special indicator.

This light was great until it quit after 19 days. Not worth pursuing a replacement. This light was only on for approx 76 hours (4 hrs a day x 19 days). My Mr. Coffee will still work, just no indicator light to let me know it is HOT. I still have an app to let me know the status of the Sonoff Mini that turns it on or off. Yes, Mr. Coffee came with a lighted power switch but I replaced that with a 2 pin to relay that turns on/off the device that is also voice controlled. The logic relay works by testing (change) of ground to zero in the Sonoff Mini.P.S. For those who wrote reviews stating this was not bright, this is a 120 volt light and some of y'all used it on 12 volt, duh...120 divided by 12 is 10%. This is why it was "not too bright".

Love them!To date have purchased green/yellow/red.Use them for circuit indicators. Work very well.- outdoor lighting circuit- hot water recirculating circuit- air compressor pressure switch(picture quality doesn't reflect as well as intended)Watch the pricing, I've bought @ under $6ca ea.In a lit up room they are easy to see from 8' away, nighttime/dark easily 30' - 40'. (of the 3 colors, the yellow one is the hardest one to make out in a lit up room from +12' away)Keep in mind, my eyesight is that of +10 decade individual.Relatively easy to install.Very esthetically pleasing, adds professional look.Would/will definitely buy again.👍

I have it installed on my panel to ensure the polarity is correct, some times marinas wire up the docks wrong and have the common hot.
