Can you still use an ac charger on the solar powered sensors in the event one or more of the sensors is placed in an area that is too shady?

The solar sensor is equipped with a rechargeable battery, and the adapter cable of the receiver can charge for it as well, so you can charge the sensor via the AC power if it runs out of the power. Please note that the sensor can work for about 12-24 months on a full charging so we do not equip an additional charger for it. Besides, the solar panels charge the battery by light wave radiation, it does not require the direct sunlight, so the battery can be charged even in the shade. Does the receive differentiate between sensors so I know where the interference is coming from?

Yes, of course, you can identify which individual sensor goes off when receiver alerts, since one sensor only corresponding to one channel on receiver. When the receiver get the alarm signal from the sensor, the screen will show the corresponding channel and the channel indicator light will flash. Besides, there are 36 chimes available, you can also set the different ringtone for each sensor to identify which sensor is triggered. Can I unplug and relocate the receiver without having to re-program the settings that have already been set?

How long do you charge the unit? Can it be over charged that will cause damage?
