Can this go in the freezer?

Is the stainless steel oven safe?

Yes, our stainless steel containers (without the lids) are oven safe up to 300 degrees.

can it be used for hot items like soup?

Yes -- the silicone lids are safe for hot foods/liquids, however, they are not leak-proof if the container is turned upside-down or on its sides. Make sure that they are sealed all the way around and they'll contain any sloshing around of the contents.

Are the lids heat resistant? for example, i want to use the lid to partially cover the bowl while steaming its contents.
