Nutrition is a focus interest of mine and I consider myself fairly well-educated having done a lot of studying and research so I hope my review will help you make a considered purchase 😊 I have taken lots of different supplements over the years for multiple health reasons which include Zinc and I would normally purchase a natural form of Zinc such as guava leaf as it is more easily recognised by your body and therefore more bio-available (better absorbed) however the product I normally purchase was out of stock so I looked at alternatives and settled on this one by Osavi. Pros: • Zinc Picolinate isn’t the most bio-available form but it is higher than other forms and is unlikely to cause any stomach discomfort. • Low dose of 10mg elemental Zinc so is safe to take on a daily basis without causing a copper deficiency. • Clean ingredients which don’t contain any nasty fillers or bulking agents. • Capsule form so easier to swallow. • Bottle is sealed with a peelable safety seal upon first opening. • Manufactured within the EU in Poland. Cons: • Zinc Picolinate is not the most bio-available form. • Low dose of only 10mg elemental Zinc so label is mis-leading to those who may not check the small print on the back of the bottle. • No safety cap on bottle so need to keep out of reach of children. • Packaging quite large in comparison to the contents so Osavi could work on reducing their plastic waste. Overall Rating: Compared to other Zinc products on the market, this is a good price for the amount you are getting due to the fact that it doesn’t contain any nasty ingredients, especially if you order it when it is on offer like I did. Osavi seem to be a more recent and upcoming brand that are establishing their place in the already saturated supplement market and I think they have good intentions but there is still room for improvement. I rate this product 7/10.

I wanted to review the waste of plastic used to keep these zinc . The bottle needs to be half the size at Least . Not eco friendly . 🙄 There is no bad flavor or issue with pills and vegan friendly but bottle is unnecessarily large

Quality item.

The first thing to mention, as per the photo, is that for such a big tub, I'm not sure why it was clearly three-quarters full. It begged the question as to why the pills aren't in a smaller container. That said, this is me being pedantic I suppose. I've recently started taking zinc as, apparently, the white flecks on my nails means I have a deficiency. I don't expect immediate results, but I can confirm that they are easy to swallow, good quality - there doesn't appear to be much filler so each pill is quite small. For the amount you get too and the fact that you only need one a day makes this fine value.

This is a 60 capsule box of zinc picolinate by Osavi. Good quality. No complaints at all. Note that this is a Vine review for the item sent for free to review. Bottle was dusty with multiple stain marks. Product nearing expiration date which is never ideal.
