The Original Slinky Brand Metal Slinky Jr. Kids Spring Toy, Multi

Second time buying this item to attach to a bird feeder pole. Stops the squirrels and provides entertainment for us!

If you remember these as a kid, this is much smaller ( it does say Junior ) but it’s still a slinky. Bought it as a stocking stuffer, will probably do it again next year but will try to find the bigger ones

Slinky is very small so if the stairs are bigger than the slinky which most will be, it will not work. Definitely overpriced should be $2 max.

My cat discovered that slinky jrs are loads of fun to play with and bite/chew. So every year or two I have to buy him a new one because they get rusted from his slobber. I would recommend the larger/regular slinky to someone buying this for their kids but this is the perfect size for a cat toy. Just hang it from something and they can play with it on their own whenever they want. Just beware that if it is close to your bedroom, your cat might wake you up at night by playing with it.

This item was originally $1.75 or so as an add-on item for a full size slinky. It was no longer available and the "similar item" showed me this one. I searched original slinky and this came u.. When I finalized my transaction it was no longer an add-on, but a $6 item. After receiving it, it is roughly the diameter of a quarter. It wouldn't even be worth the $2 I originally wanted it for. I rarely return items but am highly disappointed, and this one is going back.UPDATE: REFUSED RETURN. Horrible business practices. Bait and switch. In the description it only stat s Jr. Twice in the 2 page essay about this ORIGINAL SLINKY. It give s dimensions as 1"x1.5"x1". And yes in the description lower it says 2"x2.5"x2". Clearly misleading, and baiting. Amazon should be ashamed to allow this to prosper under their watch.

Not blaming the vendor. I did not pay attention to the size of the item. This is a minature version, suitable for a stocking stuffer. It is not the full size. My bad.

Ever want to annoy those you work with? This is it... I've bought fake ones in the past and have had them ruined fast... this one just keeps working and has a "small" metal sound as you would expect.

When attached to a bird feeder pole equipped with a squirrel baffle, the Slinky Jr. will absolutely prevent squirrels from getting around the baffle. After they climb up the pole and grab hold of the Slinky Jr., squirrels get a quick ride down. Some make several attempts before they give up. I ordered two more to replace older ones that have rusted and lost some of their spring. Since the Slinky Jr. is not intended for outside use, it wouldn't be fair to complain on durability. They will, however, last at least five years outdoors.
