Works fine
I love how you can plug this into USB types A, mini and C and still read your SD cards. The USB A end flips down to reveal the mini plug, kind of a neat idea.

What is the small hole for?
I put my micro sd card into the smaller hole, but apparently it was not for it, since now its stuck inside. So I just lost my sd card and don't know if this products works well.

One Word: Junk
This USB card reader literally ate a Micro SD card. The slot was so wide that the card went right past the receptacle inside and flopped around inside the reader. Till I pried it apart with pliers and a screwdriver. Card survived, reader did not. It didn't deserve one star. It's the design--the micro card slot is way too big to correctly position the receptacle.

Ate my SD card
This reader literally swallowed my micro SD card. I put it in and got no recognition of the card. Checked out the slot and it wasn't there. Had to break it open to get my card out. Avoid this reader.
