This is the perfect TENS unit to have at home. It works just as well, if not better than some of the higher priced ones that you can find on the internet. Works super well for period cramps and tense muscles in the body. The battery life has been great, too! I can get a couple of days in before it drops one bar. Giving 4 stars only because my only con is that I wish the pads were a bit stickier for a better amount of multi-use before having to be replaced. Other than that, great product!

If you are looking for a good TENS unit at a very affordable price, I would recommend this. I bought one and I have had it for about 3 weeks now and I love it. Works well, easy to use and really does the job it is supposed to do. I like the fact that you can just plug it in to recharge so no need to fool with batteries. The electrodes are easy to attach, and the settings are easy to navigate and use. Mine was fully charged when I got it, and I have used it quite a bit and still have not had to recharge it yet. I got this one to update the one I have had for like 10 years and I am glad I did. Plus, it uses the same electrode pads I had with my old one, so I didn't have to by any new ones. Even so, those are not that expensive, and you can use them over and over again. Good product for the money.

I really like this tens unit. I must admit I was skeptical at first but pleasantly surprised to find it to be as easy to use and as powerful as it is in such a tiny package. I have had one of these used on me in physical therapy before and this seems no different than the ones that they were using on me at the time, and I'm sure the devices they were using were much more expensive than this was. I haven't used the second pair simultaneously yet so I'm hoping that you can adjust the two pairs independently of each other. It is very simple to use which is nice. I can't speak to how the battery will hold up going forward. Only time will tell. I have had several surgeries in my ankle and legs and have suffered a bit from upper back, neck, and some minor shoulder pain. I am very happy to say that so far I have used this on my upper back and shoulder and have found it to give me quite a bit of relief from the pain in those specific areas. It doesn't last for days but it certainly helps a lot and who knows maybe after long term continuous use that will change. I have already recommended the device to several people that I know who could benefit from using this. I only have a couple of small complaints. First, the instructions could be more clear. In multiple places on the site page and the manual it mentions that the device is great from relieving neck pain, yet at the same time the manual warns the user against using it on the neck. So I'm not sure how I'm supposed to use it to relieve my neck pain. Also I wish the modes were listed as words on the device not the pictures. It would be much easier to use if you could toggle through the modes and just see the name of each one. Thanks. Overall great product with a little room for some improvement.

I sit way too much at work, and my back likes to remind me of it—especially that lower left muscle that apparently has a personal vendetta against me. When it gets mad, it really gets mad… sharp, take-your-breath-away kind of pain. I’ve tried it all—muscle relaxers, pain pills, physical therapy. Therapy helps, sure, but my wallet starts crying after a few sessions. So, in a moment of desperation (and a little hope), I started looking into TENS units and stumbled on this TENKER TENS one. At $25, I’ll admit, I was suspicious. I mean, how good can something that costs less than dinner for two really be? But over 10,000 people gave it 4.5 stars, so I thought, “Okay, let’s roll the dice.” Best. Decision. Ever. It showed up fast, I figured out how to use it, and by the end of the first night, the spasms were way down. The next day, I wore it most of the day and felt even better. Now I’m on day three, and my back feels like it just came back from vacation. Seriously—no pain, no stiffness, no regret. The battery life? Unreal. I wish my phone could take notes. If you’re at your wit’s end with back pain and ready to try something that actually works, grab this thing. It’s small, affordable, and kind of miraculous. My cranky back finally shut up—worth every penny.

I actually bought this for menstrual cramps as I saw an ad for Livia and found out that it was just a girly version of a TENS unit. There was a lightening deal on this and it also had a lot more modes than other units so I figured why not. Here are some quick pro/cons on the unit itself: Pros: 1) It has a nice slim profile. I would say it's about the size of an iPod nano and it can probably be easily hidden in a pocket. This was a requirement for me as I'm hoping to be able to use it while at work and not have people notice it. 2) Lots of settings to customize what you want 3) 2 ports so you can target 2 areas at once 4) Comes with a pad holder that doubles as a cable organizer Cons: 1) Battery doesn't seem to hold charge well between periods of time. Since I only use it for period pain, that means it's left unused for about 3 weeks at a time. Last month I fully charged it before setting it aside. At the start of my next cycle, I decided to charge it again before use and noticed that the battery had been completely drained already. Most newer devices tend to hold charge pretty over long periods of no use so I feel like the battery on this probably isn't that great. Not a big deal at the moment but we'll see in a year or two. 2) There are a lot of modes but not too much explanation on them. They do have recommendations on which modes are more effective for which areas, but I kind of wish there was a short summary of what each mode's intended purpose was for. 3) Pads don't seem like they will last that long. The adhesive on my first set are already getting less tacky and I've only used it maybe 5 times. Seems like they should be compatible with other brands that use a push button connection so at least it should be easy to replace. As for effectiveness. I will say it's ok. From what I found, Mode 1 on setting 3 works best for menstrual cramps for me and has the most "pleasant" sensation. It feels like light taps on my abdomen. I use it on the 2nd to lowest setting and it takes the edge off the pain. I wouldn't say it's gone, but makes things more bearable so I can do work or until my Tylenol kicks in. I don't leave it on too long because I also feel like it kind of makes me nauseous after awhile? I'm not sure if it's the unit or something else. Also I'm not sure of the best placements for cramps. So far I put it on the sides of my lower abdomen where I typically feel cramping, but if I put it too low I get a tingly sensation down below that does not feel good LOL. I may try putting it higher closer to the belly button since that's where the Livia recommends it. Will update if things change.
