Outstanding USB Hub and Card Reader for your Desk!
After much hemming and hawing, I finally settled on this USB Hub/Card Reader combo, and I could not be happier with the outcome. Right out of the packaging, it has a good quality feel in the hand, even more heft than you would expect, and down to the tiny details (including rubber feet to prevent sliding), the fit and finish are all excellent. This device was immediately recognized even by my now-ancient XP Pro machine, and works flawlessly. For those not aware, you will probably see it enumerate a bunch of drive letters when you initially connect it, at least on an XP machine, but once you "safely remove" each of those like you should with any flash drive (yanking an NTFS formatted flash drive without warning is an especially Bad Thing™) they will not return unless you actually reboot or disconnect and re-connect the hub. That said, it will still pick up any flash drive you plug into it, the way any active USB port would. That's exactly the behavior you would want, and I was extremely happy to see it worked this way. Additionally, I like the arrangement on this unit, with 3 well spaced USB 3.0 ports across the top, and all the card reader slots below, with reasonable distance between each. Someone clearly put some thought into the arrangement and made it so that you can actually take up more than one slot at a time without bumping your devices/connectors into each other. This is especially evident with those USB ports at the top, because as is often the case, flash drives are on the pudgy side and having ports too close to each other can easily make for a fitment problem. If I had to ding them for anything, and I don't (so I won't), it would be that maybe having one of the 3 USB-A ports swapped for a USB-C port would make the hub even more versatile. I don't have anything requiring a USB-C port at this time, but some newer flash drives are going this route and it would be good future proofing. Finally, since it isn't evident anywhere from the product description, I should point out that the cable this comes with is USB A (male) to USB Micro-B (also male), in case you want to purchase something longer. For me, wanting to connect this up with a tower that I have under the desk, I opted to get a separate 6-ft USB 3.0 cable with the aforementioned specs, and it worked perfectly. For the money spent, I could not be happier with this device. It has exceeded my expectations in every way and I would absolutely buy it again if I needed another. Highly recommended!

This thing is fast and works with multiple cards simultaneously.
I wanted a faster memory card reader, and I got what I wanted with this Kingwin USB HUB Adapter with memory card reader. I transferred over 14 gigabytes of photos from three memory cards simultaneously to an external USB 3 hard drive in about three minutes. It read a CF card, an SD card, and a micro-SD card all at the same time, and the portable hard drive was plugged into one of the three USB 3 ports on this thing. That's a lot of data and a lot of cards! I tried this thing on my old MacBook Air too, which has USB 2 ports. It worked flawlessly, and allowed me to attach my portable hard drive and read memory cards, all through a single USB port on the computer. That's something I've never been able to do before. I'm very happy. The only thing I wish is that it was a bit more portable. It's about 1.5" x 2" x 3.5" in size, and that's pretty beefy, believe it or not, compared to other card readers. That's good for having it on the desktop though. The USB 3 cable it comes with is thick, and seems to be good quality. The unit itself is good quality, with the labels engraved, rather than just being stickers or painted on. I'm talking about where it says next to the slots what they are, like Micro SD, CF, SD, etc. I use a notebook computer on the road, and it would be nice if I could take this thing with me, but it's a bit big for that, so I'll take my smaller CF card reader, and just use the slot in my notebook for reading SD cards. Oh, there's one more thing. The CF card does not stick into this thing very far, and that was a bit disconcerting at first. It seems to work fine though.

Alright, but could be better
EDIT: 3/22/2023 I tried bending the 'back' of the sd card reader inside the port in a bit to see if it would hold onto the card better. I seem to be getting it to read more often, but it still takes a few tries to get it to finally read, but it seems like once it sees the card, I can remove it and insert it without issue. One thing I ran into is that if I had my Xbox wireless adapter and this plugged into my USB ports on my computer, the controller connection would cut out, almost like the battery was dying. I tried the xbox adapter in a USB port in this reader and it seems to be working ok. Overall, I would say this isn't AS BAD as my initial review, but I feel like it doesn't work as consistently as it should. I will again add one start, now making it 4/5. Original Review: Bought this mainly for the SD Card reader, but wanted something with a longer cable so I could leave it on top of my desk instead of hanging from the USB port. The bad: Right off the bat, the SD card port is incredibly spotty and basically hot garbage. It works...sometimes. I can't tell if I have to angle the card a certain way or what, but it does not work every time, like you would/should expect it to. The good: It feels like it is of good quality, and the micro-SD card port does seem to work very well. That isn't really what I bought it for, but I guess I can make it work. Not entirely happy with it, but it is usable.

Amazing USB Hub and Card Reader
I just received this item and overall I'm very impressed with the build quality, and function. I had spent a day looking for usb hubs and I decided to go with this model. I really like how it feels very well made, it has a good weight, and just looks sleek over all. Another aspect is that it uses a micro b cable which in my opinion is a plus. It also has very good read and write speeds for sd cards (couldn't tell you the exact numbers) but it gets the job done for me. Recommend this for anybody looking for both a usb hub and card reader

Good product, Great customer support.
Overall, my impressions of the USB and memory card reader combo is positive. The product overall feels sturdy and performs as expected. The multiple memory card support in combination with the USB hub makes this a amazing value. I use this device heavily for both my work and personal use. Additionally, Kingwon's customer support is fantastic. Highly recommend that if you encounter any issues to reach out to their support. Kingwin stands by their product and ensures the best experience. I encountered some issues with the CF reader after months of usage where it stopped working. I notice some of the pins on the card slot were bent and another snapped off. Luckily no harm done to my cards. Kingwin was quick to respond to my concerns and addressed the issue immediately. Hands down one of the easiest and most pleasant experiences.

Does not work with a micro SD card.
Works great as a usb hub, but trying to read any micro sd card is failing. The OS (tried windows 11 and Linux) will get a connection then disconnects in a loop. It will not connect properly and there is no access to the card. Switched it out with a PNY device and it works perfectly. I am past the return window so I have to keep it. Fortunately, it still works as a usb hub. Unfortunately, had to spend more money to get a device that would read my micro sd cards.

A convenient hub for adding ports to a mini PC
Kingwin USB Hub Adapter with Memory Card Reader & USB 3.0 Hub Combo This works well for adding extra ports to my desktop setup with a mini PC. The additional USB ports make it much easier to plug in accessories without having to reach behind the computer. The built-in card reader is also very convenient. It saves me from having to pull the PC out every time I need to access a memory card. Overall it’s a simple and useful little hub that adds both USB ports and card reader functionality in one device.

Cavo corto (80 cm)

Has worked well for 15 months
I like this Kingwin USB HUB Adapter w/Memory Card Reader Writer because it has worked well without causing any problems since Aril 2023. I have it permanently linked to my Windows 10 desktop computer. It seems like quite a robust little appliance. I would recommend.

Sits neatly and works fine
Has done the trick in ensuring older USB peripherals can still be plugged into new M1 iMac. Sits well on desk with footprint and enough weight so that it stays put neatly.
