I've never really had a fedora before, but I love this hat. It has a good shape to it, but it's soft so you need to be careful and not crush it, but the size is adjustable, which is good for if you cut or grow your hair. It's not water resistant, so I wouldn't wear it in the rain, and it's 100% wool, so it's a little warmer than a straw hat. Overall, it's a great hat for anyone who wants a little class in their outfits.

Good price for a wool Fedora--not sure I'm going to were it or give it to my father-in -law.

Nice and sturdy. Great quality. Even though it's solid, it's not too warm, thanks to the lining.

I'm well past the point where ball caps suit my personality and everyone and their brother wear one, which is reason enough not to.A statement can be made with a fedora.Mine range from mint Dobbs hats manufactured in the 1950s and 60s to straw summer hats.So, for very little money, these hats are quite good. So far, I have two.They're not Trilbys. The crown and brim are the correct size and they hold their shape well if you take it a little easy with them.They're somewhat oversized v. their stated size, but that's rectified with a small amount of self-adhesive foam behind the sweatband.Also, their customer service is excellent. Recently, one arrived damaged due to Amazon's packaging. Contacting the seller resulted in the replacement hat packed in a suitable box.

The hat came on time,and in great shape

This is the third hat that I bought from Amazon, the first two I had to send back because they were ruined in shipping. This hat came double wrapped in plastic with a hard plastic insert on the inside and in a box, the hat is extremely well-made, True to the size chart, made of quality materials and she lasted a very long time. I will be ordering another one in a different color.Update: the other reviews are correct in regards to the gray colored hat. They must be on a shelf in Amazon warehouse or something because gray does not come in the manufacturer box, they just stuff it into an Amazon box that is too small and destroys the hat in shipping. I will have to see if the brown one I ordered that is supposed to be here tomorrow is packaged like the first hat or the second hat. Stay tuned.Well, the brown hat showed up today, the quality is nothing compared to the first hat I got. Packaging was terrible. I guess if you’re lucky you’ll get one good hat out of three.
