Natural Chemistry 07001 Metal Free 1 Liter

I got this for our 16x32 Intex saltwater pool since we have well water and it works amazingly and has really helped me keep our pool sparkling clear and this is our first year with the pool. I was looking back at the old county water analysis for our well and at that time we had 1 mg/L of Iron which is about 3.5x the suggested limit, and .63 mg/L of Manganese which is almost 13x the suggested limit. I have found though that when topping off the pool, the best way is to pretreat water before adding it. I have a 275 gallon IBC tote which would require about 3-4 tablespoons of Metal Out for my water. I put it in as I'm filling the tote so it mixes thoroughly and let it sit for several hours or even a day sometimes with no added chlorine. I let the salt water generator take care of that because it's too easy to add too much chlorine to the tote and reverse what the Metal Free has done. I have a tractor to lift the tote and dump the water into the pool but I eventually plan to just plumb it into the pool plumbing and cover it with a deck. The only staining I ever see is a very light staining in the skimmer basket if I add a lot of water and occasionally a light ring at the water line but I keep a cleaning cloth by the basket and it wipes right off. The pool looks as good now as the day we installed it which is surprising considering the amount of iron staining we have with our toilets and showers.

This product was recommended to me by a pool specialist. The price on Amazon was a better deal than my local pool supply store. The item reduced the amount of metals in my pool.

Good stuff

The product works as expected to reduce the metals in our swimming pool. Unfortunately I'm still struggling to open one of the bottles as I can't remove the child proof cap.

Seemed to work well

Great price on this product as well as keeping my copper stains at bay. Our water has high copper levels & will stain a pool quick but as long as I add a little every week & brush the pool well it keeps stains at bay.
