Leak proof
No matter what I put inside of these bags, they don't leak or pop open. They're really easy to open and close, which is good because that means my kids can use them and I don't have to worry about anything falling out. I have put fruits, vegetables, sandwiches and all sorts of snacks inside of these bags and they work perfect. I don't put these in the dish washer. I did try but when they were done, they don't stay open plus the heat warped a couple of bags. When it comes to handwashing them, it's really easy to do. I normally just add some water and soap inside of the bag, seal it and shake. I found this helps when I use these for sandwiches because it gets all of the crumbs out that can get stuck in the corners. When it comes to greasy chips, that is usually when I have to go in with a soapy sponge and scrub the grease off. Really easy to dry too. Love these bags and love that they're reusable.

Easy to zip up and easy to clean.
I liked that these were pure silicone and dishwasher safe, so I ordered some. They zip up tightly and securely hold items inside. They clean beautifully in the dishwasher and the bottom corners of the bags are rounded so that food doesn’t get stuck in there when they are being cleaned. The only negative is that they are light and the dishwasher jets sometimes flips them upside down. I solved this by putting them between heavier dishes and folding part if the zip under the heavier dish. I place them across a few dishwasher prongs so that they are open at least one inch so that they get enough exposure to the washing spray and the rinsing water. They have dried well in the dishwasher too. They are durable also and are inexpensive enough that I have been able to buy several sets in several sizes. I haven’t microwaved in them yet, but they work great in the freezer and for food storage in the fridge.

Feels good saving all those little baggies
TLDR: They're a little extra work, and won't stay new forever; but they're large, sturdy, and can reuse for a long time!We put together 10 bags of vegetables for our lunches every week, and that used to be a lot of thrown away plastic sandwich bags. These are by no means perfect, but I have no regrets about buying them.Biggest complaint is that after a couple months they don't really zip closed anymore. It is something we can work around by just using a rubber band since that is what we used to do anyway, but if you have something a little more squishable, that might not be an option if the zipper starts to fail. They aren't exactly difficult to clean, but after reading other reviews I decided to wash them by hand rather than risk them getting ruined in the dishwasher. Washing them by hand every day after work (then setting them up to dry) may not be difficult exactly, but it is of course not as easy as tossing a little plastic bag in the trash.

Better than baggies!
These bags are an improvement on the disposable baggy. There are a few drawbacks you should be aware of.1) they are not indestructible - if you damage one you’ll have to dispose of it. So while they are better than throwing lots of baggies in the trash, they will themselves still end up in the trash one day.2) I can’t fit as much in a bag as I could in a baggy. A sandwich is a tighter squeeze with these.3) it’s easy to forget to bring them home. You have to train yourself (or your children) to NOT toss them.

Worst reusable ziploc bags
These bags didn’t even survive the dishwasher. I got my package and put the bags to wash so they would be ready to use and when the cycle was done the bags had melted together. Such horrible quality and I had very high expectations for these and specifically bought them because they were dishwasher safe. DO NOT BUY THESE!!!!!! What a waste of money and time. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED in these bags.
