Loved the product. Very low heat generated. I use this for my hobby project. 1 hr of on off operation does not generate any heat on outer body.8mm collet is provided but the collet nut size is slightly lower than 8mm. Drilled a hole in nut and it’s fine now.DIYers can surely buy it

At Rs 2600, the BALLOREX KS-T036 550W 30000 trimmer or router is a good entry level product for a woodworking novice or a hobbyist.The trimmer i received was not damaged but it had a few parts missing, particularly the collets. When it starts, there is a good kick and one needs to hold it steady and away from the wood. The vibration is along expected lines but the cuts are nice and clean.PROs1) Obviously the price is a big positive. You don't have to break the bank.2) The depth gauge is a big advantage and it is easy to make adjustments3) The clear plastic base allows you to see the work area4) It comes with 6 bits to start with, so no need to buy bits separatelyCons1) It lacks variable speed settings2) The plug seems to be a bit loose and disconnects from the power source.3) The instruction manual is vague

Never Buy this Product ,waste of money

New Product when compared with the giants, but puts up a good fight. Quality, strength and gets the work done more than enough.

The Trimmer has a Acrylic base, clamped to the motor unit which is very delicate and subject to wear and tear. A stainless steel base plate could be Ideal but price matters. The motor runs at a fixed speed ,bit inconvenient. Used external regulator to adjust to lower speeds. Tried using as a deburr tool with wc bits , but motor overheating was persistent. So concluded with trimming application only . OK for the price charged. Good thing is they provide collect Chuck's 6, 6.35 and 8 mm. A 3 mm Chuck could be supplied to make the tool universal one.
