Had this for a while now & it is brilliant. Easy to take apart and clear, VERY effective in the tenderising effect. I tend to use it a lot on flank & skirt steak with olive oil, salt & pepper, this really gets through the meat plus helps flatten out any really chunky bits.

I have used a similar needle meat tenderizer. But the old one's spring was too strong, and when I tried to tenderize the meat, I basically smashed the meat not by the needle but by the protecting plate. So I was not happy using it. This SePango meat tenderizer's spring is not too hard as advertised. Also, if you want to, you can remove the needle part from the body and use it as a needle alone. So it is quite versatile. For the first time, I used this SePango tenderizer to make a Japanese pork katsu, and the result was amazing! The meat was so tender and juicy! All the family members loved it! I can recommend this to anyone who loves to cook meat!

Good product, works as described. Easy to use and pretty easy to clean. This makes it a very useful tool. Too many kitchen gadgets are hard to clean which renders them pointless or inconvenient to use. Have also bought one as a gift. The best recommendation..

Yes , it's a meat tenderiser, Yes, it does the job perfectly . A very easy , simple tenderiser to use. Be careful, those prongs are sharp ! i suppose thats why it does the job. The biggest advantage i have found with this one is that it does not flatten my steaks into schnitzels. Excellent , very happy with it
