Q: Will these accommodate baby clothing (0-12 months)?

I used these for all my newborn infants sizes, my baby is now in 9 months sizes and these still work great. Also am using them for my 2 year old who wears anywhere from 2t - 5t and my oldest wears up to a size 8 in girls and these still work pretty well for that size. Anything after that and we use regular sized hangers

Q: My son is a 5T - I saw a review that said these didn't fit size 8 clothes? Have others found this to be a problem as well?

There are baby size velvet hangers that are 11" wide and kid size velvet hangers that are 14" wide. My kids' clothes (size 8T and above) need the KID sized hangers. The baby size hanger are too small. The problem is that many of the advertised hangers use the words "kid" and "baby" interchangeably so unless you can see the hanger dimensions listed, you won't know for sure which one you are getting. For size 8T and above you will definitely want the KID size hangers.

Q: Because this is an amazon product, question to amazon. do these hangers really contain lead? i need to know before i purchase more.

In no way would the amount of lead in these that would be “rubbing off on your clothing, then rubbing off on to you”, in a high enough amount to be detrimental to a persons health. Also they are covered in that velvet stuff. Come on people use your brains, you have a higher percentage of dying in a plane crash than being hurt by the lead in these hangers. Amazon please add a disclaimer that says “don’t lick these while pregnant.” LOL

Q: What specific materials are these made out of?

Apparently there's lead in the metal hooks. Which is so disappointing because I really did love these hangers
