This it IT!
I received my Go-Vuu and wanted to try it before sending in a review. Without a doubt it is the only device to hold a cell phone in a car. It is secure in its place with only a Velcro installation. One of best features is I can see incoming texts and calls without the need to answer. Other mounts are too far away to see or hear, causing me to reach for the phone to read and then decide to respond or not. This was a waste of time and causing a distraction while driving. For anyone who has the need to have a cell phone close by, this is the answer! I now have total concentration on the road ahead. My phone GPS is much closer and easier than even a factory installed GPS.

Serious Safety Concern
I was not able to use this. When I was getting ready to affix the mount to the steering wheel, I was speaking with a relative who works on cars a lot. He pointed out that if I am in an accident and the airbag goes off while it is attached, I would most likely be killed from the phone being rammed into my face, neck or chest, since the phone sits RIGHT ON TOP of the airbag. After considering, I don't think this seems safe to use with a standard airbag.

The product does what it says it will do just not as well as I thought it would. 6 years ago I was trying to build something like this out of scratch so I was happy to see it online. In five more years I'm sure it'll be where I want it to be but it isn't there now you have to get the velcro on the perfect spot of your phone. you can't choose between landscape or portrait without trying to tear off the velcro and restick new velcro in a different spot, you have to choose one and stick with it. It needs to be a magnet. it's a great idea it just needs to be a better product I would spend$20 more for a product that worked perfectly. I've had it for several weeks and maybe used it two days and I also got annoyed with the velcro on the back of my phone. I don't even use it anymore. It makes me sad but they are on the right track. come on guys, make the product I know you can! you got it GO-VUU! Which reminds me that is a very odd name. Well I'm stuck with the holder that wraps around the steering wheel at the top I guess

It broke after 10 minutes of use!
Everything is added with Velcro and 3M sticky tabs which is not ideal for high temperatures. I worried about my safety if the airbag were to deploy so I moved it to my dashboard and that that's when the "screw" broke. The center "screw" broke off and is not fixable. Product is cheaply made and not worth $5.

follow install instructions
Works great but follow install instructions so that phone will swivel correctly. Even if you didn't want your phone to swivel, it is nice to have it right in front of you so that you don't have to look down and over. I had to be careful putting the phone on each time and it sometimes makes my horn honk (so don't do that in traffic). Price was great and shipped quickly.

Okay, just didn't work for me.
The product is okay quality, but sits right in front of airbag on steering wheel. If the steering wheel had a logo in the center there isn't a secure way to attach. Sorry didn't work for me. The company too the return without hassle, which was great.

Thank you
This is exactly what I need. I drive for a living and have tried many different cell phone holders. This one works as described and keeps my phone in a safe location. EXCELLENT customer service too!! I had a problem with thw first one I received so I sent an email to them about it. I received a phone call within minutes of sending the email and a replacement product a couple of days later. Thank you!

Works as described
My wheel has a curve, but I was able to install the large pad slightly off center. This works well. Beware that the Velcro will NOT stick to rubbery Otterbox frames. I had to attach to the hard plastic "belt hook" that came with my Otterbox. Now I can look at my phones GPS when driving.
