'Kind of Blue' is the now classic studio album by the legendary American jazz trumpeter Miles Davis, recorded in 1959 at Columbia's 30th Street Studio in New York City. The album features Davis's ensemble sextet consisting of saxophonists John Coltrane and Julian 'Cannonball' Adderley, pianist Bill Evans, bassist Paul Chambers, and drummer Jimmy Cobb, with new band pianist Wynton Kelly appearing on one track in place of Evans.

Mix is not different from other versions
I bought this after reading that this mix is "cleaner" than other versionsof KOB ... I don't think it is ... I still hear the tiny bits of static in the backgroud, at points throughout the recording. I'm keeping it, though ... it’s pleasant, it's blue vinyl, and I like the cover!

Excellent quality vinyl.
Arrived the very next day after ordering. Arrived in a very sturdy and secure packaging from Amazon. The record sleeve itself was protected in a plastic sleeve of its own. Full weight vinyl, Blue/black marble. This is a classic album and a must if your into American Jazz
