Miraculous!!
I wish I’d taken a before and after picture of my piercing. I got a belly button piercing several years ago. It’s been fine for a long time but it recently got irritated by an allergic reaction to some new jewelry I put in. It swelled up and got red and had pus 😭 it was like that for a solid week, even after swapping the jewelry back out. Every time it was touched or bumped or snagged it was excruciating, it felt like my skin was ripping, and a red bump formed on each opening of the piercing. I thought the piercing was going to fail after all this time. It was awful and nothing I had tried was working to alleviate it. As a Hail Mary, I got this piercing spray in hopes that it might help. I sprayed it on my piercing immediately after opening the box and then again at bedtime. When I woke up in the morning? Swelling: gone. Redness: gone. Pain: gone. Red bumps: gone. Pus: gone. I don’t know by what miracle this stuff works, but I didn’t expect it to be able to make a difference until I’d hit several days of consistent use. But after just two uses, it truly looks normal again and feels normal too. It’s like nothing ever happened. I wish I could give this product more than five stars, it completely saved my piercing and alleviated a week’s worth of major discomfort and infection. What a relief!! I cannot recommend it enough. Next time, I will use this on my piercings at the very first hint of irritation!!!

Works well, have used for multiple piercings
I bought the BASE LABORATORIES Piercing Aftercare Spray for a new ear piercing that was getting irritated and forming a small bump. The spray is super easy to use and the mist is gentle, which makes cleaning quick and painless. It did seem to help calm down redness and irritation after a few days of consistent use. My piercing felt less “angry” and overall cleaner. However, I did notice that results can be a bit mixed depending on skin sensitivity. While it worked fine for me, I can see how the added ingredients (beyond just plain saline) might be too much for very sensitive or newly healing piercings. It also feels a little more like a “treatment” spray than a simple sterile saline solution, so I wouldn’t overuse it or combine it with other products.

My experience trying Base Laboratories for the first time
I got a rook piercing three years ago, and the piercer used a curved barbell during the procedure. After about a year and a half, the piercing still refused to heal. My ear was swollen, oozing, and extremely painful. At the time, I wasn’t sure whether the issue was irritation from the metal in the curved barbell earring or the fact that I usually sleep on my stomach, which causes both of my ears to press against the pillow throughout the night. After a year and a half of dealing with the problem, I went to a tattoo shop and asked a piercer to examine the piercing and change the jewelry. He removed the earring, cleaned my ear, and replaced it with a titanium captive ball ring (captive bead ring). He also advised me to wash the piercing twice a day with antibacterial Dial soap and not to touch it. I followed his instructions exactly, but the piercing still wouldn’t heal. By that point, nearly three years had passed and the irritation continued. I loved my rook piercing, but not enough to risk completely damaging my ear over a piercing that refused to heal. Just as I was considering going back to a piercer to remove the jewelry and give up on the piercing altogether, I decided to try one last time to save it. That’s when I ordered the Base Laboratories Piercing Aftercare Spray, the Piercing Bump Solution, and the Keloid Bump Gel. I also purchased an ear piercing pillow and a gold curved barbell earring. When everything arrived, my sister helped me remove the titanium captive ball ring. Using two clean Q-tips, she gently pressed the area and drained the fluid and blood that had been causing the swelling. I then washed my ear, and she applied the Base Laboratories Piercing Aftercare Spray. After that, she inserted the gold curved barbell and applied the Piercing Bump Solution. I still sleep on my stomach, but now I use my ear piercing pillow so my ear isn’t pressed against the pillow while I sleep. I’m excited to say that, it’s been a little over a week since I started using Base Laboratories, and for the first time in three years, I haven’t experienced any irritation, swelling, or pain. Now that I know Base Laboratories works 100%, I’m planning to get another piercing in two weeks. This brand has officially become my go-to for aftercare with any future piercings I get.

Must have for new piercings
I purchased this for my new lip piercing and ears. It's helped a lot! I will be buying again. I recieved the spray very quickly. I like that it is a pump spray and not like the spray toppers you see in the cans that get jammed.

Effective and soothing
I just did a double helix about a week ago, they’ve been healing fine but they seemed to be irritated, I was cleaning with salt water at first and although they weren’t infected they just felt irritated & slight swelling started to happen, I know that’s normal while a helix is healing but I had a feeling my ear was also irritated by the salt water solution, I ordered this- in hopes it would ease my ears and it very much did, if I snag my ear or I feel my heartbeat in my ear, I spray this on and it helps tremendously, I’ve only had it a day and I’ve used it about 4 times, I let the area air dry, it has helped my swelling tremendously decreased overall redness and decreased crust build-up a ton, it also just feels nice on the ear, the sprayer is perfect, doesn’t spray too much or too little, super happy & so are my helix’s because they stopped throwing a fit, I inserted a before and after picture of using this. ( a day difference )

Not for fresh piercings
Wonderful spray, gentle spritz for your piercings- love the nozzle and using this HOWEVER please consult your piercer. Super fresh piercings should use sterile saline ONLY for the first 6 weeks (to 6 months). This is a great cleaner for irritation on older piercings, but because of all the included ingredients please work with your piercer to make sure this is okay. My piercer does not recommend this for brand new piercings.

Gentle, Easy-to-Use Piercing Aftercare
This piercing aftercare spray makes keeping new and healing piercings clean quick and hassle-free. The fine mist reaches difficult spots without having to touch or irritate the piercing, and the 4 oz bottle lasts a long time. It feels gentle on sensitive skin, helps keep the area clean, and doesn’t leave behind a sticky residue. Whether it’s for ear, nose, or belly button piercings, it’s an easy addition to any aftercare routine. Definitely a convenient product to have on hand while your piercings heal.

Best aftercare solution for piercings!
This stuff is amazing. I just got my third earlobe piercing and bought this stuff (I actually told the tattoo shop I got this stuff on Amazon and they were totally cool with it) and my ears were hurting really bad (and bleeding since it was a needle piercing) and this stuff stopped the bleeding and calmed my ears down. I’m telling you it works. So if you’re getting your next piercing, get this stuff instead of buying aftercare at your piercing salon. It’ll save you some money and will work ten times better! If I run out, I’ll repurchase!

Miraculous
I bought this after about a week of having my ears pierced. My ears were feeling kinda hot and swollen but this completely knocked that out. I am amazed at how fast they seem to heal, they don’t hurt at all. I was very pleasantly surprised.

This stuff is the best and you should buy it
Short story: this stuff is the best and you should buy it. The attached photos are of my 2 two month old piercings in silver. And as a reference my 5 year old well healed conch piercing in gold. Long story: I got an anti-tragus & helix piercing in my right ear. I'd been using a NeilMed Piercing Aftercare Fine Mist in the AM & PM as directed by the gentleman who pierced my ear. After 2 weeks I was running pretty low, so I picked up NeilMed NeilCleanse Wound Wash thinking it would be similar. It wasn't, definitely more of an irrigation than a fine mist. I went through that stuff even faster. So I thought I'd try my luck with this sea salt spray from Base Labs, I liked that it came in a package of two so I likely wouldn't run out as quickly. Initially I was a little concerned about the additional ingredients. I wasn't sure how it would interact with my piercings because my ears are extremely sensitive. I can't wear anything that isn't hypoallergenic and my lobe piercings get infected randomly every few months. I received the salt spray 3 weeks after my piercings, and that day they were feeling particularly irritated. After several sprays and a few minutes the irritation went away. I’ve been using this stuff ever since. The Formula: As I mentioned earlier I was concerned about the additional ingredients, but I think they’re in really small quantities. Like there’s just enough to make a difference, but not so much that it overpowers the benefits of saline spray. Like once I, by accident, got some in my mouth and it just tasted like tears. The Bottle: I’d say if you have 2 piercings and you spray them each 4 times morning and night, one bottle should last you 3-4weeks. The spray isn’t a mist, nor is it an irrigation, somewhere in the middle that will help you soak your piercings well. I use this stuff like Frank’s Hot sauce, I put that s*** on everything. I spray both piercings in the AM & PM, and twice a week I spray several Q-tips to get at any build up and then spray my ear like crazy in an effort to irrigate. I use this stuff as an AM & PM facial spray, if I get a paper cut I use it before I resort to polysporin, literally anything skin related I try this stuff on it. So with very very high usage, I’ve gone through 1.5 bottles in 3 weeks. Final Thoughts: For my next piercings I will 100% be using this spray. I’m pretty confident It will work even better than pure saline spray on new piercings. I cannot recommend this product enough, especially if you’re like me and you find yourself constantly running out of piercing after-care spray.
