Really fun toy sub!!!
I wanted a remote control sub for my boy on his 8th birthday!!! His eyes lit up when he opened this. For starters its a very cool design, The sub looks like a real mini sub model!!! Second is the real working ballast built into the sub. I was thoroughly impressed with that. It has a side thruster that allows it to turn on a dime. And the obvious forward and backward thruster as well. My boy played with it for about an hour. Then it needed to charge again. As always because of the small fans and ballast I would only recommend using this in a clean pool, Bathtub, or a big fish tank!!!

“Deeply impressive…”
This little sub is legit. It has a ballast which you control via the remote, and uses a water jets to turn it left and right.The fun of it is tweaking the ballast as you go to get it roughly neutrally buoyant at the depth you wish. It’s very maneuverable and the controls are solid. It’s “cheap” and clicky remote gets the job done and this little submarine is very responsive. It’s well designed.Perfect for the hot tub it’s deeply impressive, see what I did there? Cheese aside, the only niggle I have with it is the charger. I believe the charger did charge it up but I can’t tell because the light doesn’t work on the charger OR the charger was DOA. I won’t know until my next charge. My 14 year old was piloting the boat for this video and she quickly got a handle on it.It’s cheap, but also impressively designed. Probably the best micro sub out there from what I’ve found.

Ugh
Went till it didn’t, used it six times, quit turning after a month and two days from delivery. Was fun, but thought it should not randomly break and last longer than six times
