Nice gray coverage and brow fill in for bare spots. Does not cover the grey eyebrow hairs. For that use an eyebrow mascara. I recommend Busy gal from tarte

I have used this product as a root cover up and as a brow filler. It works well for both. I recently let my hair come in natural (Grey) and I had to switch to a lighter color for my brows. This is perfect. Not too dark for grey hair and natural looking. It does not smear and still comes off easily with make up remover.

I bought this Madison Reed Root Touch Up since I was so busy with work and family I didn’t have time to have my roots done professionally and thought this product might tide be over. In hind site, not sure what I was thinking to imagine I could pick my root color from swatches on a website. Try as I might I got pretty close, albeit a bit dark. To note, my grey hairs are sporadic and cleverly mixed with my light brownish hair color, so to try and cover them all is a task. With this said I could cover a majority of them but it took forever. I would recommend this product for a very short period of time for minimal roots/grey’s. I liked that it didn’t have a scent, and the case is very sturdy and pretty. I probably used this for about 3 weeks until I couldn’t stand my roots anymore!

My eyebrows, which now are white, can hardly be seen and the idea of permanent eyebrow enhancement (i.e., tattooing?) doesn't appeal to me, so I thought to give this product a try. The light brown is darker than I had expected, but goes on easily with the little brush that's provided and the darkness can be lessened somewhat by the wand-gadget at the other end of the brush so the result is far better than I had expected. This powder is costly, though. It occurs to me that eyeshadow is considerably less expensive, would work almost as well and comes in even lighter shades of brown, so I'll try that next.

Used light brown. I have some grays at my hairline where it meets my forehead so I can’t use a spray or anything like that to cover up between touch ups. Was hoping this would work. This is nice that it’s compact and can put in a bag to touch up on the go. It’s easy to apply but it takes a lot of it to cover up grays and doesn’t hold very long. Was ok for evening out but after a day at work it looked like I didn’t even use it. Can’t imagine it would hold at all outside. I was looking to get me a few days in between touch ups but this won’t cut it. Good to touch up on the go if you missed a spot but it’s kinda pricey for that. Don’t expect, for instance, to do all your roots at your part. It would probably take the whole compact and not last the day.
