Using for macular degeneration eye problems. It works well.
Works great. Be aware that there is a power button for screen as well as machine. My mother thought it was broken. She had turned off the wrong button.

This unit replaces an older model that was broken. It works as expected and is of hight quality.

some may work better for other people
I was really impressed at how well this would auto-focus. It has 3 different ways of "seeing" things...some may work better for other people. My uncle is using this right now because of macular degeneration in both eyes. It took him awhile to coordinate his hands in moving the paper with what he was actually seeing on the scene but it didn't take long. What a gift for those with visual problems!
