I bought this because I wanted to make slimline cards. I also have the envelope punch board, but I prefer the finish of the flaps that the slimline punch board produces. I spent a little time figuring out the measurements for my 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 cards. All you need is to trim your paper down to 9 3/8 x 8 1/4. I think it makes a much nicer envelope. I also modified my slimline card to accommodate 8 1/2 x 11 paper… a few more steps for less paper waste.

I love making all kinds of cards for friends & family but was looking for a way to create the right size envelope for Slimline cards. This does a great job creating just the size I needed & it’s so easy to use!

I was so excited to get this tool to do the slimline envelopes. I have been making them for so long on my own, but this tool was going to be fun and decorative.The measurements for the slimline are JUST over an 8.5x11 size paper. And the fold is so deep that it does not need to be. So it means you need to waste a 12x12 size and the cost is so much more.WISH they would FIX this so that you could use the 8.5x11 that we mostly use.I definitely would not spend this much money for a tool that is not well thought out like the rest.

The original envelope maker-easy..this thing is a thorn in my side. I’ve watched video after video and now I’m going to have to buy dies to make my slimline envelopes. I wish I could return this.

Very pleased with the slimline punch board. I bought it primarily for making mini slimline envelopes, as it’s so hard to find that size envelope in the U.K.I like that the envelopes can be constructed to open short edge or long edge, and look great both ways.I dropped a star because the instructions weren’t overly clear.
