When I first started making boba at home, I realized I did not have any straws to drink it with. I bought these and my stepsister bought metal ones. I definitely prefer the mouthfeel of the silicone ones, and they don't get uncomfortably cold. They're super easy to clean and don't have any weird tastes. I use them for smoothies too if I make them too thick for a regular straw.

It's a good width for boba, and unlike other materials, the silicon is actually comfortable. Metal and glass straws are uncomfortable. Plastic straws aren't uncomfortable but not really comfortable either and are more wasteful and expensive over time. The material also makes it easier to suck up the bobas. This is the ideal. Also it comes with four straws which you probably won't need all of so you can give a couple to friends as a nice little gift

Great use!

The colors are nice, but the straw is too thin to be used for thick smoothies. When you suck the straw wall collapses in preventing the flow of smoothie into your mouth. They would work okay for thin liquid just not thick stuff

Look the straws for drinking smoothies

I bought these for my husband because he loves making boba at home he kept buying straws but none of them were big enough for the boba. We love these because they are great for boba and a plus is that they are reusable.

I’m going to be honest: I didn’t buy these for boba. They’d be great! They are easy to clean. They don’t collapse easily when sucking on something thick.It was perfect for what I bought it for. You see, I have kids. I didn’t want them to know that I was eating pudding. They’ve seen me drink protein shakes, so I mixed up pistachio pudding in a protein shaker bottle, added one of these fancy straws, and “poof!” No one knows that stuff coming through the straw is yummy dessert. When I finished my sweet treat, I shoved the straw into the bottle and closed the lid. I have a feeling that the straw will lose integrity sooner from bending it into the container like that, but after the first couple of uses, it still bounced back like new. I rinse it at the end of the day, then add it to the silverware part of the dishwasher. I couldn’t be happier.Oh! I just realized this may be a great way to get a thick food diet into someone in the hospital without having to spoon-feed them.It’s a great tool. Would buy for a friend since I don’t see the need to replace them any time soon.
