I rarely write reviews but these plants are worth mentioning! I have been burned several times buying aquatic plants online but these are AMAZING! Will definitely be buying more!!!

Very Poor Quality and Deceiving Picture
Wish I could give NO STARS. Took forever to get to the East Coast. Arrived with blades all broken and mostly dead; not a drop of water in the bag. The picture is deceiving. They have like 5 blades in the bag! Will never purchase again.

Worth a try
The plant arrived in decent shape. It was easy to get out of the package without destroying it. Several of the shoots/leaves were brown on one of the plants so I hope it isn't a sign the rest will follow. Overall, so far, it seems ok. Definitely not as full as the picture shows.

It Was Shipped Healthy But Arrived Stressed
It arrived in the US mail in a plastic bag inside a sturdy little box. I immediately unboxed it to get it into light and air. It was nice and long but many leaves yellowed and fallen off. I removed the damaged leaves and, as you can see in the photo, there appears at the base three bulbs or nodes or whatever they're called. Hopefully, my plant will recover and thrive. I took a picture of it in my 20 gallon. It seems much relieved sitting in Fluval Stratum which is covered by tiny, smooth gravel. I'll update later and hope to changemy rating to a 5.

I wasn't sure how to review this val
I got what I ordered, but this was my first experience ordering a plant whose roots had been severely trimmed for shipping. On arrival I was dismayed to see this, and had to fiddle around with how to get them settled in a substrate because the root structure was so short. I ended up leaving the weight wrapped around the base and settling it gently into Fluorite where the roots grew appreciably within a week! I also trimmed the brown ends of leaves with sharp scissors. I am very pleased with this vallisneria and plan to replant it soon in the tall aquarium that needs it. I probably will want more now that I know what to expect. These plants arrived clean, with no snails or other guests.*addendum Sept 30 - 2 weeks after planting it's already got a runner and another plant, about 2-3 inches tall, has emerged. It lives under a Finnex Stingray lamp in a sand substrate with an API plant tab.*addendum Feb 2019 - I have gotten so many more plants from this original purchase that I'm sorry to say that I don't need to buy any more. If I do in the future, I will come back to this seller. This grows under a stock Fluval Flex lamp, the Finnex Stingray, an aged Marineland Reef Ready LED, and a Finnex Fugeray Palnted + clip-on. Obviously you need to feed it accordingly.

Snails? No problem!
Gardeners, like myself, have been using a drop of dish soap in water and a spray bottle to control pests for decades. Decided to try it on aquatic plants. 1tsp Dawn dish soap ( mine is a "fancy scent), 2 gallons of 70-75* water, 1/2 hour soak. Rinse, rinse, rinse under running water. Fill sink and let plants soak for 24 hours to really clean the soap out. And just to be sure, I rinse under water again. I have well water with no chlorine. I've done this on numerous aquatic plants including Marimo Balls (squeeze, rinse, repeat until no suds) and bulbs. Every plant has survived just fine and I've had no snail (or anything else) infestations in my tank.Just an idea to think about trying. The silly disclaimer I suppose I need to say even though I'm just trying to help: I'm a housewife who loves gardening, buys aquatic plants and doesn't have snails. Can't be responsible if ya decide to try this method! And a shout out to Victor! Thanx for your honesty about the possibility of snails! No problems here after treatment though!

Nope
Not as advertised. Definitely not 15 to 20 inches in height. Just a bit taller than a water bottle. Not all leaves are even green
