Q: Can this cut through pvc or hdpe plastics too?

Cutting of PVC or hard plastics is not testing we have completed. One of the functional design elements of the tool is a requirement to place at least a 2-foot piece of Nichrome wire between the handles. This allows short cuts of foam but would seem to make cutting smaller hard plastics difficult or non-functional.

Q: can i cut 2lb density EPS with this?

Most users cut 1 lb density EPS, but checking with a leading manufacturer of EPS, they use the cutter with 1, 2 and 3 lb density EPS.
