This is one of the most expensive "smokeless" ashtrays sold. I thought that maybe by paying more I would get a product that worked better, but that's not the case. The first clue that this could be a problematic item was the build quality. It's almost all plastic and feels extremely rickety - every time you press on a button or raise the top up or down it feels like it is going to fall apart. The second clue was that upon charging it for over 4 hours the red charging led that was supposed to turn green when it charged in "50 minutes to 1.5 hours" never turned green. Then when using it it was loud, regardless of what fan speed you had it on, and the electric lighter on the top could barely fit the tip of a regular cigarette, so it was a pain to use. Last but not least it's only function was that if you left a cigarette burning in the ashtray it worked a bit by drawing the smoke from the burning cigarette, but that's the same result one gets with a $10 smokeless ashtray. It certainly doesn't draw in any smoke that isn't directly coming from a cigarette in the ashtray. Unfortunately the only positives is that it came quickly and was packed well. Save your money - this one is definitely going back.

I was leery about buying this because I had tried another brand that you could charge, I used 1 hr and it lost charge and would not recharge. But this one I can plug in and charge over night and it is good to go for the next day. There is one thing I'm not sure of is how to change the filter, I know where it goes but cannot figure out how to open the black top. That is the only con and would recommend this item.

I bought this for my RV so I wouldn’t stink the place up while driving. It was HORRIBLE. Super cheap materials that kept coming apart. It only worked half of the time, we couldn’t figure out how to get it to consistently turn on or off. It only sucks up the smoke if your cigarette is literally under the hood, which is awkward and inconvenient. The second you take it out to actually smoke the smoke goes all over and the fan is not strong enough to suck it in, even in a small space. This was a complete waste of money and you should not buy it.

Too expensive, doesn’t hold charge…Can’t remove the top of ash tray to clean.Wanted to order my old Holmes battery run ash tray but because of CA. Filter regulations I couldn’t do so.. I only use it outside..

The device has a problem turning on, I have to trick it by pulling out the charge cable and back in, I dont think the battery holds a charge. I did not want to bother with the return procedure so I just deal with the trick to get it started
