Seems expensive for what it is, but the cost per use is getting pretty low for me already. I just wanted something easy to use, and these are great. It looks sharp and sets up very easily. You can probably find a cheaper setup, but if you're looking for convenience, you can't go wrong with this sprouting set. I've been only using it for broccoli sprouts, and I've had great results with it to date.

I think this is a very thoughtfully put together sprouting kit. I purchased one for myself and another of my grandma and it's awesome! They include a book with sprouting instructions for beginners and the kit is crafted to handle drainage, aeration, and all other aspects of growing sprouts. I've used this to grow broccoli and alfalfa sprouts. I like that the screen and rim are rust resistant and built to last. This is an amazing kit, however I do wish that the price was lower. There is an option you can purchase without starter sprouting seeds and jars but I still think the price is a bit high. If you can bear the cost, I'd definitely recommend this kit! It's an investment in your health!

The mesh is a cheap material that leaches after use. The liquid that drains through the mesh gets discolored because of the cheap bad quality the mesh is made from. It looks toxic.

Very straightforward instructions and this kit makes growing your own sprouts very easy. I love that the lids are stainless and will not rust. The plastic drip tray and jar stands to keep the jars at just the right angle set this apart from other kits I have seen.

I don't like to spend money on frivolous things but this turned out to be money well spent. We have been sprouting for years and I was using net material and rubber bands over a mason jar. I was wanting to get a decent sprouting lid that I could clean well. I had overcome the issue of not getting enough airflow in my jars when I had them in a dish rack in the sink by using an old metal magazine rack over a cookie sheet on the counter. This was not pretty and took up a lot of room on the counter. Plus sometimes the jars would fall over sideways if I bumped it. I could live with it. The deal closer for me was the price on decent stainless steel or even plastic sprouting lids was over half the price of this complete set. It takes up little space on my counter and I think it looks good. The metal stands are large enough to accommodate quart jars, unlike some I looked at, and are very stable as I have yet to knock them over. The stainless steel rings and screens are great quality. Plus you get jars and seeds too. I even bought son a set with the red tray as he is out on his own now. I would love to get another set for me one day too. Two of these sets will still take up less space on my counter as my other setup. Love this product.

Very good designed system, convienent, easy to use. If glass is bit bigger will be perfect.

With this system, I was able to successfully sprouts for the first time ever. The wide-mouth jars with stainless steel mesh and the stands to hold the jars at 45 degrees slightly above the drip tray makes for a complete, compact, tidy system. Also the jars with metal lids and and screens can be sanitized by boiling them, which you obviously can't do with plastic components.
