Gravity prevents blades from spinning
Product is defective, the blades stop turning after a few rotations. It appears to only work if the device is upside down. I guess gravity prevents the blades from spinning

Well worth it, does its job!
This fly fan worked very well for us. We were able to enjoy our dinner out on the deck and kept the flies away. I'm not sure about swatting them, but it definitely kept them away.
