Amazing oil
I didn’t expect much, but fell in love on the first bath! A little goes a long way, smells divine and feels amazing on the skin.

How Much Is A "Small Amount"? Too Little & There's No Effect But Too Much & You'll Need A Shower
This arrives and looks very premium with a nicely branded box and an amber glass bottle. If you were gifting this, it would make a good impression. However what was the oil like?It was much more yellow in appearance than I was expecting. The scent is like an orange bakewell tart and as I love bakewell tarts I was looking forward to my bath. The back of the bottle recommends pouring a small amount into running water or a full bath. My question is how much is a "small amount"? I did what I thought was a small amount and the end result was a bath that had a really faint smell and I couldn't feel any effects on my skin.I tried again, this time pouring much more, not a crazy amount but a good dollop (about as much as a bubble bath dose) and now I could smell it during my bath. It was very pleasant and there was a sort of brief "fizzing" action as it mixed. I could also feel it on both skin and the bath surface as there was a slipperiness to both. It was very relaxing. After my long bath and just before I got out, I scratched my calf and found that my skin was so oily a "white gunk" collected under my fingernails. This was more than just a bit of dead skin. In fact my whole body was so oily that I had to have a shower and try and wash it off with shower gel.Afterwards my skin was soft but I didn't expect to have to have a shower after my bath. I think if you can get the balance right in terms of the amount poured it is a pleasant bath oil, but get it wrong and your water bills may be higher than desired!

What I was looking for.
I needed something to ease a very dry skin and relieve the itchiness. This helped considerably. A good buy.

Poor & disappointing
Thought I was buying a quality product and expected great things from it: mainly, being able to smell it would be nice! Doesn't scent the bath water, or emit an aroma that scents the whole bathroom like some products can. Disappointing and over priced. Wouldn't buy again.

Bath oil not really a fan!
The product comes boxed and in a nice bottle first impressions is premium product. used it in the bath was disappointed with the scent which was barely their so wasn’t as soothing and relaxing as i thought it would be. It’s a mixture of different oils that make this oil it does mix into the water however did make my skin feel a little to oily maybe i need to use less i don’t know but not very impressed with this product no wow factor .

Lovely bath oil
Although it looks a bit like a cough medicine bottle there is something quite elegant about the presentation of this. If you were giving it as a gift it certainly would look like there's been an effort to choose a good product. And, like almost everything these days, it ticks all the cruelty free boxes and it's also vegan with parabens or, silicones etc. It's a relatively small bottle but you don't need an awful lot of it for one bath so I can imagine it's going to last a good while. It's not so much a bubble bath type thing as more of a "silky" experience that is nevertheless very pleasant. The scent is nice, with grapefruit coming through. The various oils (sweet almond, avocado, jojoba, olive etc) have different benefits and combine to leave your skin feeling soft and smooth and the overall experience is one of relaxation. It's not a cheap product and as such I wouldn't say it was an "everyday" one but it is a very good one that is perfect for a weekly treat and pamper session, something we could all do with. It's non-greasy and any "residue" once you've emptied the bath is easy enough to wipe away.

Lovely and soothing
Facetheory products are always pretty good, in my humble opinion - made well with careful attention to ingredients and it’s excellent vegan and cruelty free credentials. They’re a bit pricey, and this bath oil is no exception as it’s £17 which is quite a lot. No fuss packaging either, all very simple and dare I say, bland, but that’s part of their marketing. The bath oil itself is lovely though, very luxurious and you only need a little so the bottle (which is 200ml, a decent size) will last ages. The base oil is sweet almond, which is the traditional carrier oil and allows all the fragrances of the other oils to blend perfectly. Apricot, jojoba and olive and oils are all famed for being kind and soothing to skin yet with that zingy freshness of grapefruit oil to counteract the slightly herby scent of the others. The very dry skin on my legs and arms felt very soft and smooth after my bath so I’d give this 4 stars.

Luxurious bath oil with citrus top notes
This bath oil from Facetheory is a luxury oil that you can add to your bath to aid relaxation and sooth your tiredness. It's quite expensive for 200ml of bath oil but as a luxury item and for occassional pampering, this oil is great. The scent is very attractive with citrus notes and includes cananga oil that I haven't heard of but it has a very pleasant fragrance. You don't have to add a lot to a bath to create a luxury feel. It's not quite like an emolient bath oil but it does help make your skin softer.
