Can you have more than one working as one

I have six 610 access points plus a jetstream switch and a controller that work as one & I’m able to monitor the system plus make changes and that’s with me eight Hrs away (other home)😊

What is the coverage area of the eap-615 wall?

That is a hard question to answer. It depends on environment. All WiFi signals from any manufacturer will lose signal every time it has to go through walls. And some environments have too many RF interference. This unit is designed for a single room use. 40x40 foot room that is wide open should not have any problem.

Would a gigabit switch with poe give better performance over using the poe adapter?

As long as all points of connectivity support Gigabit Ethernet, performance will remain the same.

Can 3 standalone eap aps be meshed together without the sdn controller, or the controller is strictly necessary for mesh support?

As with any "MESH" setup, some kind of controller is necessary. Considering Omada is a free download (at this point), why worry? As for the individual APs, obviously they would have to be within range of each other and of course the main signal to link together.
