When you click the ".New Version" model, you can see at the right hand side of Amazon that the caddy ships from and is sold by Ellions, which is a third-party seller. If the version you are buying does not say "ships from"/"sold by" Amazon.com in that area to the right, we can not vouch for the product, as it's a third-party seller who is selling it. There is not a "newer" version of this pole caddy made by the manufacturer, Zenna Home. Sorry for the confusion! We hope this helps, thanks!
