Great pads and great value. I have the pro pads and they are just to bulky. The combo pack is perfect.

This is the somewhat cheaper variant so the shock absorber / plastic cover can not be removed, but apart from that this is as good as it gets. It's bulky, not exactly comfortable, but this is the only protector I'm not afraid to go down on knees on the asphalt: the concrete can't pull it off from the knee. Probably it looks ridiculous, but hell, the city is a dangerous place and if you're already stupid enough to strap wheels to your feet then looks should be the least of your problems. Another plus: it's not black, so it's easier to see it during evening hours.

Las tabla de tallas que brinda la marca es correcta, aunque es cierto que están bastante ajustadas y puede llegar a apretar un poco (ojo no tiene que lastimarte, sólo sentirse justo) En cuestión de talla: peso 47kg, mido 1.55m y pedí talla XS porque normalmente soy esa talla en todos lados y me basé en la tabla. Me quedaron muy bien, no lo siento incómodo y el tamaño de la protección es adecuado. Con determinadas telas como leggins o pants lisos, pueden resbalarse un poco, pero nada conflictivo, sólo la acomodas y listo. PERO: si pesas más que yo o tienes más pierna (porque yo casi no tengo) te recomiendo la siguiente talla, porque a mi me quedan justas e incluso el resorte que es muy resistente, no lo ajusto en su totalidad, para que no apriete de más Calidad: Tienen una excelente calidad, el acolchado es MUY grueso, al momento de caer fuerte no se siente para nada el impacto, no se ha roto nada hasta el momento y ya tengo 8 meses usando estas protecciones. Mi recomendación: Están increíbles, me han salvado de un par de caídas bastante fuertes y el resorte no se ha aflojado hasta el momento y nada se ha roto, por lo que las recomiendo ampliamente PERO! dependerá para qué las quieras usar: si tu interés es el slalom y/o vas iniciando en el mundo del patinaje, te recomiendo que vayas por unas protecciones menos acolchadas, porque estas al ser robustas, pueden ser algo incómodas para ejercicios de slalom o de iniciación Si tu interés son las rampas, patinaje agresivo, urbano o incluso roller derby sí que te la recomiendo para esos fines porque te van a brindar mucho confort y seguridad a una excelente calidad ;)

Got these for my son to wear while skateboarding. Like body armour, he is super confident in them.

Let's start of with the issues. These run small and you'll need to buy a larger size. I typically wear a medium and had to go with a L/XL size. The knee pads follow the contour of your knee when your in a skating stance, so they can be uncomfortable when you straighten your legs. Honestly, these are minor inconveniences for the quality and durability of these pads. They will far exceed any other brand of pads out there. I have taken so many falls and the fabric is barely tearing. Of course, these won't last forever, but typically your knee pads will go first (if you're me anyway). These pads stay in place for most of my sessions, but they can move if you slide or land on them. The plastic plate on these pads is very strong and tends toward allowing you to slide through a bail rather than straight colliding with a surface. This is true even on concrete especially when using in conjunction with 187 Killer derby wrist guards. I have slid many times and the plate is still going strong. There is also some pretty thick foam padding in these pads that help reduce the shock to a great degree. Overall, I would try out Triple Eight Savers to see if you'll stick around. If you where those out, then these 187 Killer pads should be your next step, because they offer great protection, longevity, and quality at a more than fair price. These are great for inline skating, skateboarding, BMX, roller derby, and even ice skating.
