How many mg. of EPA and DHA is in each teaspoon (which is the recommended dose)?

Per Teaspoon (the recommended dose) there is 500mg of DHA and 400mg of EPA.

I'm concerned with the product getting very hot (and going rancid) during transit in the summer. Has this been a problem for anyone?

Yes, just today cracked open a bottle that had been in storage for 1.75 years, and, sadly, it's rancid. Have to wonder how weather affected it in spite of being sealed. Would love to know if there's any sort of backup guarantee for this. The freshness date stamped on the bottle indicates it should have been good for two more years, so am pretty disappointed.

What is the difference between the "Natural" and the "Unflavored" varieties.

I have tried both lemon and unflavored. After the comparison I determined to always order lemon :). The lemon is a very light lemongrass (vs. lemon fruit) neutral flavor. The unflavored had a bit more of a (fish) taste than I expected, and adding my own lemon flavoring was not as successful as I had hoped.

As far as the vitamins A and D, are they still in their natural state or were they added back in synthetic form after processing the cod liver oil?

The label gives the following information. Vitamin A (from cod oil and retinyl parmitate) 850 IU. Vitamin D3 (from cod liver oil andcholecalciferol) 400 IU. Vitamin E (as d-alpha tocopherol and mixed tocopherols). These amounts a per teaspoon. I take a tablespoon every day so these amounts would be tripled. I also take about 8000 IU vitamin E every day from various other supplements.Also 400 IU vitamin E as mixed tocopherols. Hope this helps.
