Lighthouse LEDs 5mm Round Top Yellow/Gold Candle/Flicker LED (Pack of 50)

Description

Flickering Candle Effect LED — 5mm yellow LED with built-in flicker IC producing a realistic flame effect. This is a discrete LED component (single light-emitting diode with leads), NOT a finished flameless candle, tea-light, or wax-shell product. The built-in flicker circuit eliminates external animation hardware; the LED is wired like a standard indicator. Specifications: - Package: 5mm standard radial, through-hole (DIP) - Lens: Clear - Color: Yellow (flame-tone flicker) - Wavelength: 590-595nm - Forward voltage: 1.9-2.1V - Drive current: 20mA - Luminosity: 8,000-10,000 mcd - Viewing angle: 20-30 degrees - Animation: built-in flicker IC, randomized candle-flame pattern Built-in animation IC requires steady regulated DC — NOT compatible with DCC track power, AC, or pulsing supplies (pulsing voltage causes erratic timing or IC damage). Use a current-limiting resistor sized to the supply voltage; longer lead is anode (+). Applications: - Halloween jack-o-lantern eyes and interior glow - Theater torch and stage prop flame effect - Schwibbogen arch candle replacement - Scale-model firebox, hearth, and campfire dioramas - Haunted house and votive candle simulation The yellow flame-tone wavelength and randomized flicker pattern reproduce the warm, irregular motion of a small open flame for static prop and diorama use.
