Angelcare Baby Monitor with 4.3” Touchscreen Display and Wireless Breathing Sensor Pad (AC417)

I really like this monitor, especially the movement pad as it gives us that extra reassurance that our baby is moving while he is sleeping. The set up was easy and only took a couple minutes to get used to the controls. It is definitely appears to be higher quality than the last two monitors we had from other companies. The video and sound quality are very good. Again, love the pad.

I like this product but it has two issues:1. Room temperature is displayed in big glowing (red/blue) numbers not only on parent unit but also on baby's one. In the darkness of the bedroom those shiny numbers keep the baby from falling asleep. Just like one of the previous reviewers I had to put black tape over them. Afterall, what's the point of having the temperature indication on baby's unit???2. The range is much smaller than advertised. Way far from 820". It barely gets signal in a two-bedroom apartment.Update: Baby's unit broke down after less than 1,5 years of use. Very disappointed.

This monitor replaced another video monitor I had.Pros:1. Screen is HUGE and has a much better picture than my previous monitor. Colors and contrast are great and I can clearly see my child and tell what is going on while they are in the crib.2. Temperature on the parent unit is very helpful and convenient. Helps me make sure it isn't too cold during these winter nights!3. Sound is fantastic- can keep it pretty quiet at night & no problem with sound in noisy rooms.4. Mobility- the magnetic unit was super easy to position and change especially when traveling- makes is so nice to carry the monitor with you!Cons:1. Touch responsiveness is slower than I expected but still okay2. Pad: I have not used the pad due to my child being older and not needing that monitoring, however, taking it off of the alarm took some figuring out- it was not clearly stated how to do this in the directions.Overall I like the unit much better than my previous monitor. The screen clarity, sound, and convenience is fantastic. I would purchase again!

For the price I was expecting a nice monitor we could use for years and future babies, however with baby number one still needing a monitor I’m now looking for a new one.The camera that goes in the room works pretty well, I don’t know that the temperature reading is very accurate though. We never used the motion detector that goes under the mattress. The parental unit is the worst. I only give this three stars cause it did it’s job for a few months and it was okay, but not great quality and my child grabbed the unit ONCE and dropped it ( at 10 months old so not even two feet off the ground ) and now the screen is broken and I can barely see anything.

I could not pair the wireless movement sensor to the parent unit. I followed the directions - nothing. I called and emailed angelcare support but maybe they were all out for the holiday. I didn't feel it was worth troubleshooting. For $229 the technology is super outdated. I'm returning it. Disappointing.

We just love the monitor! I can rest easy and know my baby is safe. The picture quality is good and night vision works great. The temperature feature is really helpful I can regulate the nursery temperature easily. Pad works well- we know it works since it will sound if you forget to hit the button on the camera when removing the baby. When the battery is dying on the pad it will falsely sound which can be starling in the middle of the night. I recommend to all new parents. I would buy for a family member. Worth spending the extra for the video monitor and pad. Peace of mind is worth every penny.

Don't waste your money, way to expensive for the quality. It's build quality is that of something built 15 years ago. Unresponsive touch screen with an interface that feels incredibly dated and not user friendly at all. Any small crack and the screen in that area is useless. Unless you leave it plugged in 24/7 the charger will break very quick, you will wake up constantly with it beeping from a dying battery until you readjust the cable.All around very disappointed with the product. Amazon has plenty of cameras that will allow you to use your cell phone as a monitor. Pair that with a simple audio monitor if you feel it necessary. You will be much happier and so will your bank account.

Su funcionamiento del sensor de movimiento es totalmente erratico, a veces suena cuando el bebe esta durmiendo tranquilamente y cuando lo quitamos de la cuna a veces suena y a veces no.El termometro nunca marca la temperatura correcta, siempre esta como 5 grados arriba.

We love this baby monitor! You only get false alarms if the sensitivity isnt set right. Just bump it up by 1 and you're good! I owned one with my first daughter 12 years ago and now this one with my second daughter. This is a must have IMO
