Finally, these are the answer to those who need extra protection in a diaper and when bladder pads aren't enough extra protection applied inside a depends. These particular Tranquilities are long and very absorbent. The only thing I would add is a strip of adhesive because they are long and wide and do shift when you put both the depends and Tranquility on together. If you have mobility issues, you will have more trouble getting it settled where/how you need it inside of a depends. Even if the company added a little adhesive to the front and back wings, it would help a lot.

If you have heavy urine leakage and already use a diaper, there may be times when that is not enough. Long trips or overnight you may need more padding and absorbancy to prevent embarrasing leaks. A booster pad is the answer. These booster pads are hourglass shaped just like the padding of a standard tape-on diaper. They do not have a plastic backing, so they must be used with a diaper or disposable absorbant underwear. They fill to capacity then allow urine to pass through into the padding of the diaper or underwear they are worn inside. They do not have an adhesive tape to hold them down, but this makes them easier to change out without untaping the host diaper. They can be folded to place the extra padding right where you need it. I sleep on my stomach, so I keep them folded up so all of the padding is in the front of the diaper to triple up the absorbancy. If you sleep on your back, you can do the opposite. They can also be folded along the length to fit between the leakguards for daytime when you need all around extra absorbancy. These booster pads add an extra 13.6 oz of absorbancy. They work great for me with Tranquility ATN diapers. I highly recommend this product for anytime you need extra security. UPDATE: Im now using these for their original purpose: managing bowel incontinence. They work well to contain stool and make cleanup less of a hassle. They allow you to just change out the pad if its formed stool and continue wearing the diaper. They also work well for looser stool, although they do allow the liquid to pass through into the diaper below, so you will need to change both the pad and the diaper. I continue to use these with Tranquilty ATN adult diapers. The combination makes managing bladder and bowel leaks easier and more comfortable.

My very honest review. I decided to wear these when married couples stay over because the wives like to do the laundry. These Pads are very large, but they need to be that way. They are best for the caretaker, not the one being taken care of. However, at 65 years I can lay down with my butt on the pad. I make sure my crackaroo is near the tip end of the pad close to the lower back. I then pull the pad tight from the front, lift my body slightly up, and I pull my underwear tight from in the back. I then lay flat again to pull tight my underwear from the front. The bad thing is there is no tape that comes with the pads. I may look for tape pretty soon, but I have doubts that the tape will hold.

I highly recommend these booster pads, as they can absorb a lot of fluid and are easy to change, making things much simpler for us. My husband's sleep quality is much better, and he is able to sleep comfortably.
