Remarkable Scar Treatment – A Visible Difference!
I’ve been using Mederma Advanced Gel for a few months now, and I’m genuinely impressed with the results. I had a few scars from past injuries, and this gel has significantly reduced their appearance. The formula is lightweight, non-greasy, and absorbs quickly, making it easy to apply and wear throughout the day. What I love most is that it doesn’t leave any sticky or uncomfortable residue, which is a big plus for me. Over time, I’ve noticed that my scars are noticeably lighter and less noticeable, with smoother skin overall. While it’s not a miracle overnight solution, it works steadily and has provided visible improvement with consistent use.If you're looking for a reliable and effective scar treatment, Mederma Advanced Gel is definitely worth trying. It’s one of the best products I’ve used for improving the appearance of scars, and I’m thrilled with the results!

Happy & definite improvement!
Happy with this scar gel and I’ve tried a few which have unfortunately not worked, however I have seen a difference using Mederma Advanced Scar Gel. I used this for a few weeks on an ankle scar after ankle surgery once completely healed. My scar was approximately 13 months old and was still quite prominent and purple, however it is now much less obvious and a pale pink, going white which I’m sure will get even better with continued use. I will say however that if you are using this on somewhere that flexes i.e. an ankle or knee, apply it with your limb stretched or extended not straight as once it dries it will all crack and you have to start again. I applied the clear gel and it appeared to be fragrance free, it was a nice consistency and the rounded head of the tube allowed for easy allocation and smoothing out of the gel to an even coverage across the scar. I sat back and waited for the gel to dry which took approximately 25 minutes or so until set. Wish it fired quicker but other than that happy. Before pic has a grey cover beneath my foot and after using product has a pink cover under my foot.

Impressed worked well for me
Wish I had taken evidence photos. I had a cut on my hand about the size of a thumb nail that I did in October. By the beginning of December I was researching scars and healing as it was raised, very red and angry looking, itchy and sensitive. Came across this product and thought for the price it’s worth a go. Started to use it Christmas Eve and today the scar is flat now, still a bit pinkish though looks worse in the picture. I’m so pleased as I was worried I’d have a tender raised lump for the rest of my life. It has worked well for my situation. It’s a clear gel with no real scent. Puts a layer over the scar to work its magic.

Give it a try!
I have tried the Mederma Advanced Scar Gel for 3 weeks on an old scar, from past surgery, and a new scars. First and foremost; the gel is very easy to apply and have a lovely mild scent. Being a gel the main benefit for me is that is isn't messy and dripping everywhere when I'm applying it. It goes on smoothly and creates a kind of thin barrier which I think holds the active ingredients in contact with my skin, so it can do it's magic! I've seen the most improvement in my new scar, which is from a burn a month ago. The redness has dulled quite a lot and the skin is softer. I haven't seem much change in my older scar, but it does say on the pack that it can take many weeks of application to aid older scars, so this is to be expected. Overall I would say it is definitely worth giving it a go to see if it works for you

Within a week pigmented scar skin gone
I was fainted recently because of my body dehydration and got an annoying scar in my face. I didn't care then I just took general care by keep monitoring the scar part with oil and moisturiser. Later I noticed that scar turned into black skin. When I googled it and discuss it with my friends they were mentioned that might turn black because of more time spending in front of monitor screen or any screen. Then I remember that I have spend most of my time infront of screen with open scar. Then I read some article regarding hyperpigmentation and understood the reason why. Some article suggest me to try sunscreen if I'm spending more time in-front of screen to avoid hyperpigmentation of scar and to avoid skin deaging issue. On my search for cure my black spot in my face I came to know about mederma ointment. Which I have tried it with lot of hesitation like what if it worsen the area. But it turned out it gave me some sense of healing the skin layer which I felt like that it working on my skin. I have applied it continuously twice atleast a day. In result It cured my skin in 10 days I would say.

Definitely for newer scars BUT it's nice for older ones too!
I have older and newer scars. I didn't think this would help my older ones as I don't think the product was intended for that but I did try it anyway. My old scars are on my nose and it tends to get very dry in that area, so this was really nice to keep it protected and moisturised. It was like a like a thin, dry coating that sat nicely over my old scar.As for the newer scars, this gel has definitely made a difference! My scars are a lot less red and don't feel as bumpy and rough as they were before.I'm going to continue to use this gel on all my scars, old and new.

Made my skin itchy
I have been using this scar gel for a few weeks now and I can definitely say it didn’t work for me. I thought maybe my skin just had to get used to it but it never did. It made my skin turn all itchy and red, so much so that when I put it on my scars before going sleep, I couldn’t sleep because of how bad it itched my face. I’ve never really had a problem like this before with any other face gels/creams so there’s a possibility it’s something in the ingredients that I may be allergic to. Please remember to patch test anything new you try on your skin!!! All in all, I find the mederma overnight cream is fine to use on my face, however I will not be using the gel again.
