I just bought the black "silverware" set that has the flowers and butterfly's...Is the Black Rose really black or more of a pewter?

It is black. But in my opinion, it spots and doesn't stay as pretty looking as it should. I love the way it looked new but would not buy again!

The black serving set has been $13-18 in the past - is it worth the price increase?

I paid $20 for the set, so the increase isn't great. It's a very nice set and this color is hard to find.

You will need to return the entire set. I had to do that with mine, but the company sent out a replacement set instantly! The replacement set came in perfect condition!
