Diamond Select Toys Marvel Gallery Spider-Man PVC Figure

First Spider-man statue I received had a bad weld job on one boot, plus some missed red paint on the chest. Requested exchange for same statue. I requested a exchange on Saturday. I got the replacement on Sunday, one day later! Wow, that is very impressive service from amazon. Thankfully, the new statue is perfect. No bad seam weld or poor paint job. Looks amazing. Very cool. Very detailed. Love the thin, kind of gangly look, which reminds me of many of the great Spider-man artists who have drawn him over the decades. The big eye holes (?) in the mask are my preferred Spider-man look as well. Good price for the level of this detail. For those of you who can't spend $150-$500 on a porcelain statue, these vinyl statues make a great, affordable option. I do wish they would make each a limited run like DC does with many of their vinyl statues (at still under $50). Offers a little extra value to the buyer that way. I also ordered the Classic Iron Man statue in the same Gallery Diamond line. Awesome as well. Very good buy!

I have always been a fan of the lean, spindly Spider-Man with larger than normal eyes. It's the kind of build I associate with a super agile and flexible superhero. And this figure from Diamond perfectly encapsulates the aesthetic I so love for the character.What's more--and what makes it stand out from other Spidey statues--is the pose. He's not crouched or swinging but standing tall in all his lanky glory. He's doing it, too, on one foot. It really showcases his effortless sense of balance. So, kudos to Diamond and the sculptor for trying something different with the character and succeeding with it.Highly recommended for Spidey fans and Marvel fans in general.

As expected

Item looks as good as the picture on Amazon (though colors may not be as vibrant). Wonderful statue for the cost. It's big enough to be a nice addition to a collection but still casual enough that it can be put on your desk at work, on a shelf at home, or maybe a cool little centerpiece for a table or bookshelf. Great for a comic book fan collector that doesn't want to spend $500 on a overwhelmingly massive and intricate statue.

This thing looks darn good, I love the different pose and not the normal web sling or web shooting pose Spiderman always seems to be in.My only issue with this piece is the right hand, no idea why it is like that, but the detail is still awesome and you can't beat the price.I have some figure factory scenes around him and it looks awesome.

Looks great, a solid piece. Was a bit cautious after reading other reviews, so expectations were low. I am very happy with what I got. Now on to Daredevil.

The Diamond Select PVC line is just pure bang for the buck. Yeah, they're affordable, great for those that can't or won't shell out several times the cash for an equal-sized "quality" statue. But jist because they have a low price point doesnt mean they're cheap. Each of these I've purchased has looked top notch, bit I may just be lucky. All I know is that I love them, and they're a great product to start a younger collector out on.

Nice figure, spectacular detail. Looks great from eye level. It looks a little odd from below, when placed on a top shelf (the neck is crazy alien skinny). The balance looks cool, but needs to be on a stable surface. On a desk that is occasionally bumped he will fall over.
