Perfect to connect XLR mics to Shure wireless packs
Replacing a room full of lapel mics hooked into Shure BLX1 wireless packs with desktop XLR mics with on/off switches. Had mixed results with TA4F-Mini XLR adapters (hum/buzzing mostly) so tried to find another solution. Got a dozen of these and they all seem to be working just fine, without the hum/buzz of the adapter I had. There aren't a lot of options out there, thankfully this is a good one!

Works fine with the right equipment
This is an adapter cable. No more. No less. It either works, or it doesn't. In my case, it did. I used it to connect a standard XLR microphone output to a wireless microphone transmitter to produce a PA system with a lectern microphone in the front of the room transmitting wirelessly to a mixer in the back. No cables running through the room. Note that different manufacturers use different pin wiring schemes. Make sure the cable you buy matches your equipment. (This one is made specifically to match Shure transmitters.)

Works just fine for handheld XLR mic connection to Shure bodypack
Just needed a backup for fragile headworn mic; this cable makes an ordinary XLR mic work with the Shure bodypacks.
