MR433 Saddlehorn D2 Folding Pocket Knife

I give this 5 stars from the expectation of what a 20 dollar knife could be. Like others have said, it’s big. Folded length / handle length is 5 inches. The blades are 4 1/4 inches each making them larger than a Sod Buster Jr folded. lol The knife itself is very comfortable in hand. The fit and finish is acceptable for a working knife. It has its flaws but is an excellent value. You get a whole lot of razor sharp D2 for very little money. Both blades have nice hallow grind edges. The mirror polishing is very very nice. Some flaws include grinds in the swedge on top of the clip point are a little wavy and the pins at both bolster ends have wear and aren’t perfectly polished to not be visible. Those things don’t bother me simply because it was 20 bucks and I plan to hard used this knife. The handle is large and fills the hand nicely. It’s definitely got some heft to it but no worse than a Buck 110. Pictured with this Marbles is a Sod Buster Jr. and a full size Case Copperlock for size comparison to other popular knives in the tradition folder world. Amazing value for price and very usable tool. Definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a solid user knife.

This marbles knife is nicely made and high quality. It is a large knife and has some heft. Could use a case on the belt. Large pocket knives are great and I like them. The use of a belt clip helps but this is not the case, this doesn’t change my review because of the quality. Think purposes and uses for knives that you use and collect. This is an excellent knife for the price.

Quality built knife worthy of your everyday carry.

Unfortunately I had to return the 10 knives I ordered. The reason was that they were too large for the sheath I intended them for. I absolutely loved the knives and deeply regretted having to return them. If these D2 knives were available in the more traditional Trapper size I would order them in a heartbeat, the steel quality in a knife of this price point is unbeatable in my experience
