The fascinatingly conflicted Dwight McCarthy returns in this blood-soaked chapter of the signature series, presented at original size with new wrap-around cover art by Frank Miller. Dwight owes a debt to the girls of Old Town. These dangerous women who walk the night have saved him more times than he can count, and finding friends like that isnโt easy. Tonight, these friends are being threatened in more ways than one . . . Dwight is going to do whatever it takes to bring them peace and keep the status quoโeven if it means killing a whole lot of people. The fourth editions of Frank Millerโs graphic novel series continue with Volume 3 The Big Fat Kill . This edition does still include the ten-page pinup gallery from previous editions, featuring art from Arthur Adams, Mike Allred, Sergio Aragonรฉs, Paul Chadwick, Joe Kubert, Mike Mignola, John Romita, Jim Silke, Walter Simonson, and Sergio Toppi. Also included is a slightly expanded eight-page cover gallery featuring art from previous editions. Devoted fans and new readers can again experience the groundbreaking and unparalleled noir masterpiece that has engrossed readers for nearly three decades! FOR MATURE READERS Review: โญโญโญโญ๐ซ - This is the third volume in the dark noir Sin City graphic novel series and should be read after Vol. 2: A Dame to Kill For. Dwight gets involved in a domestic dispute that takes him to Old Town. A deadly chain of events quickly spirals out of control, and he must do everything he can to keep the peace between Old Town, the cops, and, even worse, the mob. I enjoyed this volume. The storyline was pretty straightforward but engaging. The one thing I will say is that some of the illustrations felt like they were going for shock value. I hope that was the intention, because Miho's weapon design came across as offensive. Given that this was written in the mid-'90s, I can understand how that choice reflected the era, but 30 years later it just feels like a poor decision. Other than that, I enjoyed the story and the femme fatale noir atmosphere. Overall, I am enjoying this series, and I'm interested to see what happens in Volume 4: That Yellow Bastard, especially with the introduction of some new characters. Art: 4.5/5 Plot: 4.5/5 Writing: 4.5/5 My Enjoyment: 4.5/5 Review: Yup just as good as the last and better then the movie - Great Great Great. Love the story, characters, art. All of it and having seen the movies on the big screen, they were great adaptations, the 1st anyway but adaptations they were and these are so much fuller, and just better and seeing the way he did things back then you can see how much this influenced comics forever

Each one of these books is highly addictive. The movie was great. But the books are way better. Nothing negative to say about it. Loved the story and the art.
