I can’t say I’ve put a $450 Bushnell thru it’s paces, but my neighbor has one. He gave this his seal of approval...plus he was having battery issues with those CR2-whatevers, and this thing charges off USB...which is on a port in my car now...I guess we’ll see how it holds to, but it’s within a yard of his Bushnell and another guy’s Callaway...so more accurate than my golf clubs. Ha! Chances are, you could go a long way with your game before outgrowing this laser range finder.

This thing is almost PERFECTLY accurate. At the gun range it said a 200 yd target was 200 yards, and I'm not sure I held it in the right spot to match up where the range guy measured from. I'd say 201 compared to 200 is plenty close enough to say it is accurate. Other brands cost a hell of a lot more.

Purchased this item for two reasons. 1) it was cheaper than a lot of the other brands. 2) it doesn't use batteries.This item uses a rechargeable battery, unlike most of the other brands that uses the expensive CR2 battery. Depending on usage you can get well over three rounds before having to recharge. It uses a mini-USB port, which many electronic items also use.The item itself feels sturdy & rugged. The front optics are protected by a rubber cover but the rear site is not. Although the item is lightweight that may be a hindrance when trying to get your range as we all have those 'shaky hands'.The display is simple to understand and see.Another minor drawback is no cover for the mini-USB port, but as long as the item is not dropped into water you should be fine

Pretty good rangefinder. Made in China so as usual it has some crappy instructions. It arrived and measured in METERS only. Nowhere in the instruction manual did it say how to switch to yards. Simply hold down the MODE key for longer than a second and it switches to yards! Very simple

They appear to have changed the functionality of the product to remove the height and horizontal distance readings. It only offers straight distance and angle, so don't trust the images and description that suggest this will offer a height reading or adjusted horizontal distance reading. I spent thirty minutes reading the manual (which is unhelpful), searching online, and experimenting with different combinations of button pushes and holds until I realized that the product I have is clearly different from the one earlier purchasers received.
