At best this item can be compared to one of those insignificant whim purchases of a neat eye-catcher at the local dollar store that doesn't exactly work when you get it home and open it. The compass works if it is constantly jiggled as it stops rotating whilst aligning to magnetic north, sometimes ridiculously so. The thermometer is not really functional. I have yet to see the temperature move away from 24C despite seeing temp ranges between 8C and 35C since the purchase. I would not waste your pennies on this item.

Stay far from this cheap plastic
Very cheap plastic and not even close to serve it's purpose from an accuracy perspective - it's about 7-10 degrees far from the real temperature. To get a sense, tt's +13 degrees Celsius now and it shows +22. Very disappointed since it's sold directly by Amazon.
