Just what a 71 year old needs to help him get on a 1025r. Takes about 6” off the step in height.

Tractor step
I purchased this step to go on a 1025R John Deere compact tractor and was pleasantly surprised at how well and strong it was . Very easy to install and after using it for awhile it has made a big difference for a 70 year old with really bad knees . It is about a 6” drop from original floor board but much easier to climb on with this step

A Good Addition to the Tractor
A clever addition to the tractor. And it really helps getting on and off. It’s a hefty piece and well fabricated.

I'm 75 with a bad hip and I love this.
This step is great. I read the reviews and the issues some customers had. To install the step I suggest that you take the bottom bolt out and put it in the center hole on the new step. Thread the bolt back to the original postion but don't tighten. Remove the center bolt and rotate the step to allow you the put the center bolt through the top hole on the step bracket. Tighten both bolts. By mounting it with the 2 bottom bolts you have lowered the new step to a really great heigth. Now you have an 8 inch step on to the tractor. Really easy to get on and off the tractor.
