I love this so much on my desk! Not only does it look nice with my white controller, it keeps it charged and ready for whenever I use it. I hated when my other batteries would die in the middle of the game with no warning! But with this, it won't happen anymore. Definitely worth it!

This is one of those accessories I didn’t know I wanted until I started using it.As an average gamer (~4ish hour long sessions), the batteries have held up nicely. The build quality of the stand feels solid in hand, has enough weight to it that the controller settles in nicely, and is intuitive to use (yellow light = charging, white = done, 1 usb c port on the back).A few months back I picked up my first Xbox controller (just the basic Core version) and promptly found that it ate AA batteries like candy. Prior to this kit, I picked up the MS branded battery with usb-c cable which I have since returned. I didn’t realize how clunky it felt to have the controller lying about / plugged in until I started using the stand.For me the bottom line is just the convenience of it. If you’re more of a hardcore gamer and need to be able to hot swap battery packs or have an elite/more elaborate controller (triggers/wings on the back, etc.) then this may not be the all in one solution on it’s own.

I love how it magnetically locks to the controller as clicks when it attached to the dock. It has an indicator light that turns on when the controller connects and changes color when it completely charges. Exact color of the controller and the back plates that come to replace the original backplate are the exact color too. Great quality as to be expected from Razor. The battery lifespan is great, but I almost never get to the point of low battery due to charging it after I'm done using it because it's also a nice controller holder to keep everything neat and tidy. You don't even have to plug it into the Xbox to use it. It can be plugged into a wall outlet with a box, I personally use Anker, but any of the boxes that have a decent quality USB A (standard USB) ports will work.Setup is super simple: just plug it in, place the battery in your controller, place the correct backplate on your controller (which matches the color scheme of your controller exactly and fits perfectly), then place the contoller on the charger dock and listen for the click as it magnetically connects to the dock and the light indicator should also pop on to indicate it is connected and charging.

This base matches my special edition remote perfectly, and it's a great quality hardware materials. It just doesn't charge as fast as I would like, as it takes about half a day to go from dead to full charge. Other charging bases I've had in the past can usually do a full charge in about 3 hours, so having to charge overnight is a little annoying. If this is just for a spare remote it would be perfect, but this is for my main remote I use the most so I end up plugging it into a fast charge USB because I play too much video games. 8.5/10 would recommend if you're a recreational player or if it's for a spare remote. Just not fast enough charging for your workhorse controller.
