Physicians Formula Bronze Booster Highlight & Contour Palette with Brush, Blendable & Buildable Finish - Matte Sculpting

I have a lot of makeup, ranging from drugstore brands to expensive, high-end brands, and this trio is my go-to for bronzing and contouring above all others. The brush it comes with is pretty useless to me personally, but there is enough space in the package for me to stash another travel brush I actually use with this product. It’s not so warm that it makes you orange, but not so ash that it makes you gray. I use all three colors and they all work beautifully. I’m 37 and I have my share of fine lines, and this product does not accentuate texture on my skin or fine lines, of which I have many. Highly recommend to anyone, any age, who is looking for the last contouring palette they’ll ever need.

So I can’t comment on wear time, but I am sooo excited after using this for the first time that I wanted to use that energy for a review or else I knew I might not write one. I have close to a dozen contour products that I will never use unless I’m desperate for a bronzer bc they are all way too warm for my skin. My mother used to say I had ‘peaches and cream’ skin (which I’m not sure is a thing?) but essentially I have very fair skin with cool undertones similar to the complexion typically associated with redheads, but without the freckles. This is the PERFECT shade contour for anyone who matches the foundation shades commonly named porcelain, alabaster, or light ivory and has struggled to find something cool enough to use. It’s pigmented, buildable, and easy to blend. The brightening and bronzer shade are a perfect compliment as well. If you are fair with an olive or warm undertone, I would imagine this might be too grey for you... but for anyone else out there with cool and fair/pale complexions- I’d highly recommend!!

I have to start by saying that I am a super pale girl! Therefore, my review might not be the best frame of reference (unless you are also a super pale person). The contour and bronzer shade are amazing! The contour specifically is the kind of shade that is neutral enough that it doesn't look out odd. It functions really well. A light hand is always a good idea. It is easy to build, as is the bronzer! This actually might be one of my most favorite bronzers. I 10/10 prefer matte over shimmer. I mean, its more orange on my skin than it would be on more fair than light skin, but its the kind of shade that can dual as a blush too. I like it, it brings the life back in me. The only thing is the highlight shade. I cannot use it for my face. It makes a decent light color for the eyes if I need it. Its just too dark on me and cannot do the job. Still, I don't regret buying this. The packaging is plastic, but really nice! It comes with a brush, but I used my own. Contour and bronzer blend out really easily too! Lastly, theres a little mirror which is always a bonus!

I do really like this bronzer set and I think the best part is that there are two shades so depending on how tan you are, it’s easy to build only a little color or a lot. It is also super nice that it comes with a travel brush and a mirror. The third shade I use as a highlighter, and I typically only highlight the bridge of my nose. This is one of the better highlighting powders that I have tried as it does stay in place very well.

Nice addition to any makeup collection. I got the natural matte one because I didn’t want the contour and bronzer to have shimmer. The brush in this kit works well to apply these shades. Middle is the contour/shadow, left is the bronzer, right is the highlight. They are subtle and blend well.

brand new by Physicians Formula (as of Jan 2017) and was excited to try the matt version. Did not like. The white highlighter didn't show up, the bronzer was too orange, and the contor just a odd color, not natural looking. Great idea but needs better colors for my dry, mature, sensitive light color skin. I am going to try the other version of this that has shimmer and hope I like it better. I am a huge fan of PF products and will always try new things when they come out. This just didn't work for me, even as a eyeshadow.

My package came in perfect condition. I was afraid because it came in a bag. The colors are pretty amazing. It also came with its own brush. When you open it up its underneath the colors. I actually was pretty impressed, wasn't expecting that. I did try to use the brush, but I ended up using my own brush that I was already use to, but I'm not gonna give up, I'll keep trying to use it. I was also blown away with the fact that it also had a mirror. Whoever designed this did a good job, because for me, everything was perfect just the I needed it to be. This will be a product I buy again, and I'll recommend it also.

I'm about as fair as they come. That makes finding contour powders difficult. The center color in this palette is in my top three favorites. I like that it's very cool. It edges towards a slightly purple/grey taupe without being so purple/grey that I have to be careful. It goes on sheer,but really nicely pigmented. If I want it to be a little warmer, I'll blend it with the lightest shade of Profusion Cosmetics contour powder. It's also a great ghostly contour if wanting a cool taupe without the purple/grey undertone. The Profusion one is just a skosch warmer. I don't use the outside powders normally. The bronzer color could work for eyeshadow, I guess. The highlight is too dark for me and is chalky looking on my skin. If they ever make the center color as a contour all by itself, I'd be really happy. The one thing I don't like about this product is the container. Mine won't open all the way without lifting the bottom up and it drives me nuts because I can't just open it and sit it on my vanity. It will close if I try. Other than that, it's probably the cheapest contour that works great for really pale skin, and it blows every luxury brand I've tried out of the water. Two thumbs up!

Es mi favorito porque tiene un tono de bronzer cálido y otro frío, ambos muy favorecedores. Al que no le doy tanto uso es el iluminador matte.

Preferirei che la tonalità di sculpting più calda non fosse così scura, in modo da poterla usare come terra da coadiuvare con quella più fredda come contouring. In questo modo, purtroppo, mi ritrovo a non potere usare uno dei colori sul viso. Avendo la pelle diafana non posso usare la tonalità più chiara per lo scopo per cui è stata ideata, ma ogni tanto la utilizzo come colore di transizione al posto dell'ombretto. Il pennello accluso è terribile, quindi uso lo scomparto sul retro per riporvi altri strumenti. Sarebbe stato meglio avere un packaging più sottile, con solo le cialde e uno specchio, ma ormai si sa che questa marca non ci va piano con il volume. Peccato per la quantità di plastica usata, però. La formula mi piace, la pigmentazione c'è eccome ma non è eccessiva, si sfuma abbastanza facilmente e si rimuove senza molte difficoltà. Non mi esprimo sulla durata perché quando devo stare tante ore fuori casa tendo a usare altri prodotti.

Beautiful colours really looking forward to getting more use out this. Comes a bit smaller then I expected and packaging is a bit chunky but that product itself is lovey, feels nice and has great pigmentation.
